i have 2k corp kc and gotten 2 ely splits (1 mine, 1 others) and never had an issue with trust. Shard share is bad idea. i would prefer ls or cs than shard share. i dont want drop to be random but to go to person with highest damage though so i will vote NO for ls cs and shardshare. what we did in rs2 was turn on ls/cs to crash world then turned off for rest of trip and trust sold items if worried about ge offer for sigils not being enough.

Logged in on forums just to post my full support on shardshare pvm.

One question though: Will the shard price always follow the item price?

In example if bandos tassets go up 1mil, will the shards follow that price change on the same GE-update? Like potions do/did?

First off Jagex...

I'm pretty sure there are many players like myself who agree with both lootshare and shardshare, however unlike I usually do I'm going to post... which everyone should be doing.

I just want to bring up that feedback on the forums and on reddit is not accurate at all, you should be polling these updates. People who disagree with something are more likely to open their mouths opposed to the people who DO agree with these suggestions.

And I also feel like a lot of people who play with this game disagree with things and updates for the sole purpose of disagreeing, you have devised plans for both lootshare/coinshare/shardshare that don't effect players in any way shape or form, but maybe just a little indirectly that's irrelevant.

My point is, you have nothing to lose by just polling these options in game... you can't judge the oldschool communities 100k player base opinion by less than 100 posts on the forums... come on

If you don't want to add any type of lootshare coinshare or shard share system this is basically a form of trust trading, which is ultimately being promoted. Might as well bring back dicing? (not really but you can see how trust trading sucks)

I think one off the most important things is missing in this Annoucment.

Will the Drop go to the Team with whatever Player got the most DMG, OR will the Drop go to the Team that did most DMG ?

Like if Team A consisting of 2 Players did 200Dmg ea =400 Total, and Team B consisting 5PLayers doing 100Dmg ea =500Total , would Team A or Team B get the drop?

If its Team B , wouldn´t that hurt the Economy drasticaly? because u wont be able to go duo/trio anymore for more %split but only in high numbered teams with lower %?

Hope that atleast in the Poll it will be told how it works.. not some half described Polll where u need to guess again ..


Still think such a system is just bad for the community and only helps going with strangers so no need for clanning anymore , also helps "bad" ppl that are blacklisted for scamming already to find partners easier. So some1 scammed ely gets bl in evry clan but now can pvm easy again bc blacklist doesnt mean **** now .....

Everyone here who is whining about shared share not being coinshare is just simply dumb.
It is the same thing - 3 ppl get a drop - everyone gets 1/3rd. Debating about it is fine but if you try to say you want coinshare or nothing you are getting yourself absolutely nothing at all.

I've also seen some people stating "oh I never had issues with drop share trust blab**" - who cares? There are tons of scammers, only because you never met one doesn't mean that everyone else will have the same expierie*ce, so how does it affect you if a safer option is given?

And now to the worst people around here, blabering about the "desruction of clans". If you are a good clan you will simply keep going together and have fun together and have an easier and quicker way to split loot. The once that will leave never gave a s**t about you or your clan anyway . Aside that - I don't even think that people will "leave" - why would they? It is easier to trust your whole clan with efficient kills AND if not enough people are online you can just go with random people - more drops - more kills - more everything.

Most of you seem to only think ahead for 1 step which really wants to make me puke but I hope that 75% of the community are not as dull.

Yes for shared share.
Yes for coin share.

No for the people voting no. Please go play tetris.
