I don't think I want lootshare. I played rs3 until invention came out, when I quit for 07. I would do bosses like Vorago and Nex, where nobody uses cs or ls because of how inconvenient it was. We could trust each other for well over the meager 400m wand split, without a problem.
An annoying part of lootshare, is LS crashing. If you were corping on 07 with your friends with FFAS (free for all split, like it is now), and a team walked in all using LS, their damage would be shared and your damage would be per person. Because of this, that team who was originally FFAS would have to turn on LS in order to fight over whose kill is whose. Now, if somebody, even in the original FFAS team who had the world gets a Sigil, especially an Elysian, it would be unfair to split it, as he would lose like 500m LSP for something he would have split outright. This became a huge problem at bosses like Bandos and Nex, and it is something I don't want to see ingame.
Another bad part about LS was how greedy the player base became. If you missed a sigil, you would only do LSK wherever you went, because you only want the drop. LSK removed the team aspect of pvming, where you would simply share it amongst the group, making it every man for himself.
The worst part about LS was scamming. I'm not very proud, but when I was younger I would do Vorago in a 5 man, where 3 of us were lootsharing (maybe CS, but you get the idea). Since this was a time before newsfeed broadcasts, the other two players were absolutely clueless as to our intentions. In 07, I'm not sure if the "Zulralt has recieved Elysian sigil" message would appear to everybody, even if they weren't in the LS group. Imagine you were 4 manning corp, and 2 of them were Lsing and pull a sigil. How would the drop message appear to the other 2?
If it doesn't show up, it would be clear to the 2 players they were being LS'd on. If it does show up, the scammers' damage would still be shared together, giving them the drop.
