Fuse/enchanting Level?

allows you to fuse magic damage to your weapon for special effects?
Fuse your armour too?

Example

Fuse your Kiteshield incost of a anti dragon potion plus magic spell to make it a antifire shield for a limited time only? level 77 Fuse level needed. etc.

Water Blast Fused / Dragon long sword.

make's it easier to kill Fire giants since they are weak against water?

Introducing Monster weaknesses on a higher scale?

---------------------

Engineering level?

Being able to make mechanical items? Rune Dwarf hand cannon etc. level 81 to make items

Example
new item type, Dwarven, 50 defence, engineering needed for Dwarven armour, Dwarven weaponary 50 att and str needed.

kind of fits nicely as there is no armour that is around level 50, to fit the gap between rune and dragon, apart from granite. but only granite mauls.

able to fix cannons for discounted price with 99 stat. for 50%

other than that I can't really think of a another skill...

So since working on this idea since it came out I finally finished my Skill idea and here is a tid bid about it if anyone is interested.

My skill would be called " Relinquish
" it is about releasing good spirits and evil spirits back on their "Journey Home", from the 7 graveyards I have put together some being good and others being evil ie "Graveyard of Temperament", "Graveyard of Healing", Graveyard of Balance"..each graveyard would have a special feature some good some evil to aid you or set you back, for example, The "Graveyard of Serpentine" a lower level graveyard will shoot tiny fire balls into the air at random times causing minor damage to your life points, where as a "Graveyard of Balance" Tipping the scale to your favor every 20 mins and for a period of 2 minutes more of your spirits will appear but both spirits will lie in both of good and evil.

In the proposed skill you would be given a "Shield of Faith" or a "Shield of Iniquity" that can wield 6 plumbatas and shoot these plumbatas at the same time. (giving range xp), the higher your graveyard you advance, the better stats to your shield and plumbatas you receive. Plumbatas can be made depending on choice of shield into either "Eternal Darts' or "Blazing Darts".

This skill involves sending "Spirits back Home" and as you kill them they will explode like a shooting star and drop "Spirit Dust to the ground" which you will place into 1 of the 2 urns "Journey Home Angels" or Journey Home Demonics". Upon placing "Spirit Dust into the Urns your xp for this skill will grow and the chance of receiving either a bottle of "Tranquility" or a bottle of "Turbulence" into your inventory that has Prayer XP inside.

If you choose the "Spirit of Faith Shield" or vice versa to the "Iniquity Shield" you will yield more xp off of the "Spirit Dust" for good then the Evil spirits and again vice versa..but when shaking or rattling a coffin or cross to rise a spirit you do not know which spirits will arise, and some will tell you they are perfectly content where they are.

This is the basics of the skill I will be proposing, but the one I have prepared is more indepth ofc, but the skill is based around Prayer and range xp with amounts of smithing and str and at a high level of this skill crafting xp will also become involved.

With a nice reward upon hitting 99 besides a skill cape hehe

Anyways good luck to all who are entering and whom ever wins I hope it adds excitement and fun!

I am playing osrs because i can remember me on the old times, when i played RS,

How long till that got boring?

I loved the nostalgia for the first couple weeks. BLAST FROM THE PAST for sure. Even the players seemed to take a roll-back and it was the awesome community we use to know and be proud of!

Fact of the matter is though... the game will not survive if it doesn't move forward.

not survive you mean like it is now?.....exactly what I thought..

the game has and will always remain how it is peoples opinions on something will never change if ppl have such issues with it not being updated well then here you go heres old school. If the game wouldn't survive their wouldn't be anyone online right now at this moment.. The game is boring plain.. and it is only for extremists not noobs.. No new players will come in but it will forever remain stable no matter if theres updates or not. For every positive is a negative.. you are an ignorant person to think either way is right.. is it right to update a game or not to update a game? People quit just because of updates and that's the most ignorant thing I heard to tell people it wont survive if its not updated.

Dungeoneering was actually the best skill ever, the most comprehensive skill ever, the most fun skill ever, and undoubtedly put the multiplayer aspect into the mmo.

It's a true bloody shame this is not coming back to osrs.

I Am actually so disappointed in the Jmods, in their search for originality and desire to just be "different" from RS3, they will disregard what was probably the skill with the most potential for competition (floor times), deserving rewards, additional content for all Existing skills (was my only motivation to get my total up), and an amazing way to bring people from rs3 into Osrs, as many of the dgers in rs3 would prefer the old school difficulty and challenge of it.

Whatever new skill gets the most votes, I truly hope it compares to the standards of dungeoneering, especially if you guys are not even letting it be a part of the vote.

dungeoneering isn't a skill though? it's a minigame.

Every update I've seen here on OSRS has done nothing but make things easier and easier..... Just don't mess up the game, just don't, really don't do it.

If there's going to be a new skill at least make sure it isn't dead content, over powered/heavily depended on or easily obtainable.
