If this has to be released please delay it and release it with a decent backstory to it, which the Zeah volcano could be. If you are just going to add a cave to Tzhaar which leads to another Fight Cave then just forget about this. Please do not make glued on updates, it has to fit in with the rest of the area and not be half a**ed.

I have mixed feelings about this. I see people commenting: "Why repolling content that didn't pass?". From one side, I agree with this. If it does not pass, there must be a reason for that. Perhaps the players don't want (so many) new content, especially because there are already so many other big projects which are still in the pipeline or just released. It's a line of thought that applies to me as well.

From the other side, seperating The Inferno from the existing Fight Cave is a step in the right direction. The Fight Cave as we know it is like a monument, which means it should be untouched. Because of that, not integrating The Inferno in the Fight Cave is something I like.

About the cape: of course the reward has to be great, but I can't imagine a better-in-slot cape than the existing fire cape. I would rather vote for a different (slot) item as a reward. This doesn't overrule the fire cape, and you still get something great.

About the release date: definitely January 2017. Making creative and well developed content takes time, and please use this time to release a great update. I would (and I think many others) rather wait a little longer for something good than to play a rushed update with a bad aftertaste.

I voted no on this, and though I rarely post I would at least like to say (see echo) why. First off, I really didn't like the design of the cape itself. There's no real need to try to improve on the aesthetic of the fire cape, because it's been an icon since release. Adding 'shoulderpads' to it doesn't add anything, it just detracts from the gravitas of the original, which nobody would want to wear it due to inferiority.

Aside from how it looks though, I have issue with how it's to be obtained - it's another fight cave (which already exists). The more challenging boss fight might be interesting, but apart from that, why introduce power-creep to an exceedingly similar 'best in slot' item that's obtained in a similar way? The cape itself doesn't introduce any interesting mechanistic value, it's just slightly better in terms of stats, and I believe it would be more interesting to do something to obtain it that isn't essentially the same thing I did to get its forerunner.

Having said this, I was never a fan of the Fight Kiln, Har-Aken or the TokHaar-Kal either. These are just my thoughts, and I wanted to post them somewhere, I hope it gives insight into my reasons, at the very least.

-Is this a joke? First of all the cape looks like dog ****.
- Second it's unnacceptable that all you release is content/ more options for melee while releasing either ****** or no items for magic and range.
-Augury/Rigour still hasn't been added into the game, yet you want to keep adding more melee items making the already best form of combat in the game even better.
-I'll be sure to vote against this trash.

In my opinion if you are going to release it, do it right.

I'm not a huge graphics junky, I imagine most of us aren't as we are playing OSRS, but it would be nice to give "Jad 2" a good backstory and a very unique feeling. I'd hate for it to feel somewhat cheap and a copy/rehash of original Jad.

Zeah at the moment feels empty, like EXTREMELY empty... So bringing Tzkal-Zuk and the Inferno cape to Zeah would definitely let Zeah make it's mark on the game.

What i think about it.. its a good update but like many people allready said, would be good to add it to Zeah world to make it have more point.
The sametime i have an idea for zeah, you could add some kind new item as similar to fire cape BUT for ranged/magic in zeah world. Like a new boss that would drop some upgraded ava or new god cape for magic.. To be honest to many melee updates has been added and for some ranged/magic based account this feels terrible.
So think about something new for this bases and make it happen !

I personally voted no to "Jad 2" not because of the boss itself-but because I am still so happy with the all so great fire cape and would NOT want it replaced. How about releasing this cape as a range/magic cape instead? I would definitely vote yes for that. As i've seen other posts, OSRS is not particularly about graphics and I love the look of OS as it is. The fire cape however does look badass.
