I'm telling you right now that the vast majority of osrs players could care less about graphics but I didin't think this update was very good to begin with. I personally think the entire idea should be scrapped I honestly hate how everything is being replaced with all these different items, but if that isn't a possibility I would strongly suggest waiting til the 3rd batch of zeah.

On another note I'm glad to see that there won't be any range or magic versions of the cape I could see that being a big problem.

Will vote no to any BIS that attempts to devalue current game content.

And no, rarity is not an excuse. Rarity leads to elitist circlejerks which is even worse. I'd rather have an item that's easy to get and BIS than hard to get.

The ***k is it? If that **** update out, im done with RS.

That wouldn't be 07' anymore. Its not 07' atm, if i wish to do some **** bosses with OP rewards, i would stay playing RS3.

That update is the same like **** KILN on pre-eoc.

GJ on ruining 07. If u add it up, than just go ahead and also make summoning and dungeonering, + ofc change server name from
07' scape to PRE-EOC.

Make something new, something exclusive, something OLD SCHOOL. Don't just copy a concept and similar looking capes from current runescape. The designs of the capes and the cave should not be something similar to rs3.


Anyway, If had to give my opinion on this, then I would say push it to next january. Are you planning on just releasing a new melee cape or did you forget to include the ranged and magic cape in this blog? Change the melee strength from +8 to +6 (or 5) so that it won't be as overpowered. On the ranged cape, you can change from +6 to +4 (or 3). I really want the inferno to be connected to the fight cave and not a separate cave though. In rs3 it is a separate cave... Don't be a lazy copycat. If you want to get new players to play OSRS then you better make it something unique/exclusive. :) ;) ^_^ :D

Stop living in the past. It's quite obvious that this game is no longer the "07scape" that you and so many others hold so dear. The game in 2007 was ****. It was on the way to becoming dead. I promise you that if this game was exactly the same as it was in 2007, you and the other four people that care about the 2007 integrity would be bored and lonely, wondering why there was nobody else playing your precious game. Get off your high horse, and stop moaning because they're trying to make the game better not just for YOU, but for the majority. Not just the majority, but they're also thinking about attracting new players. Again, stfu.
