There seemed to be a lot of teases for PvM but there wasn't much besides the lizardmen. The approval system is good in order to avoid price crashes/inflation, however I think it's a bit too much. To require 100% just to do one type of activity in one area seems very demanding. This pigeon-holes you to this one area. If you want to try another area, you lose a lot of your approval in the one that you worked hard to get to 100%.

In my opinion, I think in order to do the best things in an area, you'd need only 75-80% approval. That way there's a 20% buffer which can be used to obtain possibly another area's approval. With the current system you basically can only play in one area, dividing the playerbase and prematurely forcing the player to work towards a goal that they don't even know if they truly want.

UGH another worthless update. why cant jagex just understand we barely have enough players to enjoy many of the mini games, player vs player, and skilling contents we currently have let alone this stupid mini game. Its like every other month jagex is coming up with some stupid idea and they just throw it at us hoping we like it. ASK THE PLAYERS WHAT THEY WANT TO HAPPEN WITH THE GAME DONT DECIDE FOR US!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Make rcing less afk and nerf xp rate down some

Its not because you done 99 rc on the boring way we all have to do this.
The only persons i see complaining about the xp rates and afk part are ppl with 99 rc.
This explains a lot on how boring the regular runecrafting is.
Players enjoy this just let them enjoy it even tho u got a bit less proud cape.

They did ask. It was just a freaking long time ago.

Do your freaking research before blindly spouting nonsense, please. The amount of players who are unaware that Zeah was polled is astounding.
Oh, I almost forgot.
Oh, I already forgot.

Great Kourend is a great kick off, with nice ideas and nice areas to visit. But in my opinion it could use a little bit more refining. With this I mean more variation when it comes to design (a lot of buildings look alike for example), and more natural lay-out of the island itself and its content. It would be more cosy as well if you would fill up the empty spaces a little bit more. But besides those things, a nice start of Zeah! :) Will game for food!

Nice job so far. Can't wait to see it as it gets completed/tweaked.

I'd like to try all the content without having to lose any. So I would like to be able to gain and maintain favor in all of the houses and not have to split it up between them. (After all the houses are not at odds with each other. They complement each other and make the city great.)

Thanks for the update! :)
The point of the journey is not to arrive.

It looks nice, but there doesn't seem to be enough linkage to the rest of runescape for it to stay relevant.
Things to consider:
GE access? (somewhere central, maybe in the fishing section)
Skilling instances? places for hunter in the south east? rare trees staggered in various places?
I think it's a bit restrictive to need favor for everything on this continent. Why not have various resources/creatures staggered around the areas? You might even want to consider adding some of the necromancy monsters in the less populated, jungle-type areas, so we don't have to go everywhere looking for our ensouled heads.

People did not decide what was in the update. The addition of a new continent was polled. Everything inside this massive continent was not. That's the point. You were given the illusion that you had control over the content, but you didn't. After Zeah passed they did everything they wanted without polling the player base, except the new altars which let's face it, it was guaranteed to pass hence why it was most likely polled.

I keep reading this argument over and over again. It's not a valid argument. Players voted for a new continent to expand the world of Runescape. After that they got almost zero input in the decision making. And this is what we ended up with. No wonder they didn't showed specific details or beta tested it with players. They knew they didn't have a quality product.

So of course people complain because they are right to do so. They had ZERO input into this content.

Favour system is completely ridiculous. Shay*ien house you have to wait 20 mins for a freaking gang meeting to start?

Should have had the initial stages of Great Kourend quest driven, RFD style. The more quests you do, more content and items are opened up to you.

18 months of planning and developing and this is the best you came up with? Mine ore for hours on end, search bookshelves and kill countless monsters?

3/10, only saving graces are soul and blood runecrafting.

I have still to actually find something, but that's because the area is huge.

What I would like to endorse is the post above where it's suggested that the city be made more like one city; not a number of different ones just lumped together.
