I'm wondering how they won't be the most xp/hr. Just like levels 77 and 90 were already known as being 10,5 and 11 xp per essence. Abbys makes the walking distance -> speed is equal as well.

Anyway, blood runes still seem to fit better into Morytania.

Nature runes give about 24k exp/hour (using the abyss) and give 9 exp per essence, so that's 2650 runes per hour using the abyss (with all pouches).

Providing blood runes give 10.5 exp per essence and you can make 2650 an hour that would be 28k exp / hour.

So similar exp rate to law runes, not overpowered or underpowered, a fair alternative.

(Guessing) Soul runes giving 11 exp per essence would mean 29k exp / hour which may be slightly faster than making natures, laws or bloods; but once you reach 90 runecrafting it won't be long before you switch back to making double nature runes at level 91 anyway.

In conclusion:
Not "New best training method" more of a fun alternative.
Well balanced.
Would fill up Zeah with abit more omph!
Wouldn't have a devastating effect on current game economy.

so what this dev blog is saying: we allow you to make blood runes and soul runes. its worse money/hour and less/same xp/hour but you need high level for it. that makes absolutely no sense every skill is based on the fact that you get more xp/hour when you get higher level. so why doesnt someone with 77+ runecraft deserve a higher xp rate per hour? it makes more sense. the fact it doesnt give more profit is alright this give peopel the choice to train sligthly faster with less profit. IMO the xp rate of blood runes should be ~45k/hour and soul runes should be ~60k/hour just to put off weight of the profit you lose

I don't understand what's wrong with people worried about the current xp rates going up. Why shouldn't they? The whole problem with the rc skill is that shops are constantly introducing runes into the market and what should be rewarding at 99 (10 air runes) is aboslutely sht because of the runes not being provided by actual rcers, instead packs of runs come into the game each day, rather than be crafted. That's mistake number 1.

Number 2 is that RC should be profitable and rewarded. Why should double nats at 91 rc be the best money making method. You act like one day, there is going to be a new rune. This is your only chance to make a great update and you're worried about XP rates?

Why not nerf rune shops and make runecrafting and magic connected like ores and smithing are, like wcing and fletching are, like fishing and cooking are. You ruined our skill and then you want to say we don't deserve higher xp rates/gp/hr.

Voting no on these altars, THE OTHER ESSENCE THING IS REDICULOUS, stop playing change scape and give hard working RCers what they deserve, a level 95+ rune.
