Why? why the hell did you do this? you wanted to make it so tons of low levels/skilling accounts die on white wolf mountain now clicking through his stupid, unnecessary, useless chat dialogue that shouldn't appear when you chose a right-click option to begin with. Bad change, don't change it unless you are asked to Jagex, updates like this are why eoc is a bad game.

When you choose his right-click option, you should get straight to the glider menu without any dialogue. The change should simply be that you talk to him when you click the 'Talk-to' option.

And yet a player specifically reported as a bug that the 'Talk-to' option on the gnome didn't make you talk to him, and demanded that we change it. We could have deemed it not worth the time to fix, but the testers can handle simple fixes themselves without needing to escalate it to me or Maz or Ian, so it didn't waste dev time.

True, and that's why the "fortunate" guys selling the thousands of zulrah telescrolls they had aren't here on the forums complaining.

Alrighty I'll tweet you that other question then :p , but with Max Cape out do you think the Max Forums might be a project of interest? Mod Mat K has brought up the possibility and now with the cape itself out perhaps it's an appropriate time to ask. Of course, I'll never actually be there considering I'm a Mage/Range Tank build ;_; , but I have compassion for my fellow Scapers' :p . -

Nope, the update wasn't done properly - whoever uses the Talk-to option is a bit off in the head to begin with considering his function. I get additional dialogue when selecting the right-click option.

Yup. We gave no warning of the change, so anyone who had those items did it fair and square.

It'd be a rather small community at the moment. I'd have thought it'd be something to come back to when there are more maxed players. But I don't personally mind either way.
