I'm honestly not seeing the problem with Zulrah or Wyverns to be honest... speaking to others here. Should you only be able to make 100k/hr until you have 91 Runescrafting? The diverse ways of making money in this game is pretty pitiful.

There are litterary hundreds of ways to make a lot of money until you reach 91 RC ....
It's not pitiful at all.

If you don't see a problem with an easy farmable, 2.5x 91RC profit an hour - so easy even bots can do it and generate billions then we don't have more to talk about.

1) I think you may have misunderstood what I asked on Twitter about Mage Strength roll. From my understanding there's two rolls, an accuracy roll and a strength roll (damage),

I know for most things the str roll or damage a spell can cause has a set maximum cap unless changed by items like the Occult necklace.

I was wondering if Magic bonus affects having a higher hit or not, within the bounds of what the max hit is of the spell you're casting. EX:Casting fire wave in Mystics lets you damage higher more normally (within the 20 damage cap) than you might in Zamorak Robes. Or do Mage bonuses strictly affect Accuracy only? Could be ways to help balance the mage skill by letting things like Mystic Might affect the strength roll but not have a capacity to extend the limit set by the spell itself (sorry if this is confusing)

2) Can Zeah/New Skilling Focus possibly come with ways to craft Magic Armour (perhaps better defensive, lower tiered stuff)? There's plenty of unused resources in game already that can be used, and most of our equipment is from monster/slayer drops, treasure trails, minigames and quests.

It's certainly not easy, but Youtube has videos of people managing it.

I couldn't agree with you more. Jagex just seeks out ways to punish people for no apparent reason without realizing that other parts of their game are way more messed up that others.

I said in a livestream that we'd got the data coming in for monster drops. Turns out I was wrong about that - we haven't. The Sire was changed today because we'd now ascertained how long players are taking to kill it; since it's not dying way faster than expected, we were comfortable putting the drops up.

Thanks. It'd be even nicer if I could always say "Yes, we will immediately change the game to what you're requesting", but that'd be a bit unrealistic.

Dont you think that changing zulrah related content should be polled?
i agree that when releasing something new one will allways have to do some balancing a few weeks or maybe even a month after its release, but to change something almost a year after being released should be polled. i'm just worried that you have started to change more without polling it than you used to. like the splashing/guthan afking. i know most people are against it but still it doesnt get the 75% required for the poll. i dont think its good that you make big changes like todays zulrah change without a passing poll to show for. sorry, and thanks for the max cape. looking forward to comp cape already :P

No one mentioned Wyverns on this thread but yeah they are op too. 91 Runecrafting isn't an easy feat, all the more reason why it's a good money maker. Zulrah and Wyvern have practically no real requirements.

Correct, it doesn't. And yet it hardly seems right to keep an unbalanced or harmful situation indefinitely. As you've identified, we're deliberately taking a stronger stance on addressing issues that arise; when we've previously put such things to polls - knowing full well that they wouldn't pass - it wasn't actually making players happy, and it was harming the long-term prospects of the game. Game integrity issues and bugs should not be polled. I'm sorry if you'd prefer us to do it differently.

Not taking issue with the update, but a common method for doing multiple kills per "trip" is (or was) to heal up at the statue in Nardah between kills, so really 1 scroll was used each kill. It'll be interesting to see if scrolls rise high enough that people use high level resources (brews/restores?) for killing it to extend actual trip length
