hi all,

Some suggestions for the combat capes that can work : defence,strenght & attack.
Boosting the stats by a percentage of the already given bonusses of the gear that you wear.

-attack cape : it would just give you a percentage better bonus resulting in more accurate attacks.
example: having a godsword : 132 slash and 80 crush would result in a boost in the attack bonus , resulting in 132(+3) and 80(+3) when wearing the cape (depending on the percentage given)

-defence cape: would give a percentage extra defensive bonus on the full gear setup you wear.
example: 93 crush defence bonus without the defence cape, would result in more bonus when wearing defence cape(+9) and a boots : 102(+3) (depending on the percentage)

-strenght cape: similar to the slayer helmet, the strength cape can have a percentage on hitting higher, not increasing the melee strength bonus! This is for fire cape :)
example: when you fight without the skill cape, you have a max hit of 30, when you fight with the cape , you have a chance on have a higher max hit of 32 (depending on the percentage)

Attack: 5% chance to hit your target twice (pvm only)
Strength: 5% chance to have your hit deal 1.2x damage (pvm only)
Defence: 5% chance to negate 30% of damage (pvm only)
Range: Ava's effect, & 3% chance to snipe target (pvm only) snipe could just be 100% accuracy and bonus damage idk
Magic: 20% chance to not consume runes on your next spell (not stackable with other items with this effect)
Prayer: (I like the current idea already)
Summoning: ._.

So farming, woodcutting, attack, strength and cooking are all realistically useful, but as for the rest of these "perks", having to spend 99k for spawnable items that cost 1 gp in store or 1 inventory space isn't what'd I'd call worthwhile.

On a different note, why is firemaking even a skill? Fix that before you give perks to a 2nd rate cape that requires 13m experience and many hours of in-game effort. The obsidian cape, adry cape 3/4 and (best of all) the fire cape are much easier to obtain with much less effort.
