The smithing cape should be changed--there is no reason to not wear the goldsmith gauntlets if going for xp after 99.

Suggestion: Allows the player to use "Superheat Item" by activating the quest cape X times per day (no runes, magic level required). Could be useful in a few circumstances, at worst saving a few nature runes.

OR

10% chance of "saving" a bar when smithing items which require 3 or more bars.

Id like the ability to infuse some BIS capes to the skillcapes.

Attack cape can be infused with ardy cloak

Strength cape can be infused with fire cape

magic cape can be infused with mage arena capes

range cape can be infused with avas

Obviously change the trim of the capes to show this.

On other topics, I think herblore cape should have the chance to save herbs/supplies while doing herblore. This would give a little extra profit to some people.

I also think it would be interesting for the hp cape's bonus to stack with at least the regen bracelet.

Prayer - slight regenerative effect on your prayer points.

Magic - unlimited teleports to the magic guild.

Runecrafting - Acts as all talisman/tiaras or 10% chance of increased yield on runes crafted.

Herblore - Has the ability of the scroll of cleansing.

Hunter - A warning feature before you teleport to the black chins.

Smithing - Has the scroll of efficiency ability

Farming - Scroll of life ability

Attack - I cannot think of anything right now for attack and strength but they should not have the same ability. Unless the teleport leads them to a different part of the guild then it would be slightly different.

Strength - I cannot think of anything right now for attack and strength but they should not have the same ability. Unless the teleport leads them to a different part of the guild then it would be slightly different.

This sounds like a great idea however, I do have concerns about capes that have quest item perks on them.
A lot of the posts I've read here say something like using the quest item on the cape or quests being devalued.
I mean there are numerous ways to get 99 in a skill and they don't require quests so why should someone have to complete 1-5% of all the quests also in order to have that perk? It would be unfair for the person who got the 99 without doing the required quest to miss out on the perks, in saying that it would also be unfair if the person got the perk without doing the quest.

So here are my suggestions regarding those capes so that it seems fair for both sides.

Ranged - Instead of it being an ava clone, it could be that there is a percentage that when ammunition would be consumed, it isn't or simply ammunition aren't consumed they're dropped so at least there is the dilemma of choosing ammunition not being consumed vs ammunition being picked up.

Prayer - The quest chain for holy wrench is quite hefty in my opinion, but I do like the idea that someone mentioned earlier of burying bones to restore prayer. I know a lot of slayer fanatics come across bones a lot and just don't bury them. I'm sure the prices of prayer potions won't be affected as no one will bring dragons bones to a task to restore prayer.

Magic - If I remember using spellbook swap is that it changes your book, then you cast a spell, then it reverts back. This is the advantage (if you call it one) that one gets from completing dream mentor. Someone mentioned this earlier but a teleport to the altars where you switch books, it is a good idea too but it requires quest to switch books anyway. My suggestion is that you can store 1 spell in your cape (much like the dungeoneering magic box if you remember playing RS2/3) of up to 50 casts in what ever spell book you are in. I believe this is a nice perk as there is no such item in OS and it will free up some space as most mages lack space.

Keep:

Ranged
Magic
Slayer
Runecrafting
Agility
Cooking
Firemaking

Change:

Attack
Strength
Defence (should be more tanky effect)
Fletching
Herblore
Construction
etc.

1)
Dont have the capes copy other item effects.
(except ranged) We already have goldsmith gauntlets/Varrock armor 3 etc. we can get those before 99 theres no point in copying them.

2)
DO NOT MAKE MORE TELEPORTS.
this game will eventually turn into rs3. the capes should be a passive effect and nothing else.

3)make the HP cape allow you to over eat to 105 or 110? something balanced

4)
Change the magic cape from once a day to once every 3 hours
. theres no point in 1 day you would still have to go back and switch after youre done with the spellbook and completely defeats the purpose.

5)Allow herblore to get a chance of (4) dose unf pots when mixing

6)
REDUCE SMITHING COAL AMMOUNT BY 1

you could set up exp milestones (giving people more motivation to train the skill past 99) and add different tasks/requirements to progress perks that could be stacked or toggled between on each cape allowing players to choose between the perks depending on how they choose to play, the exp milestones could also be used to increase the number of perks that can be used on the cape at the same time

Decreased chance of degrading pouches!!!!

SUPPORT!!!

Farming:

Give a 5% increased yield from herb patches.

This would stack with any other boosts you can get for increasing yield, i.e. the Magic secateurs etc. This number can also be changed with ease if anyone thinks it is too high or too low

If you search the cape you should have a unlimited supply of magic secateurs.

Not sure if anyone suggested this yet, but for the Fletching and Herblore cape:

Let them act like a Knife/Pestle and mortar instead of searching them for one.

When wearing a Fletching/Herblore cape, you can right click on logs to cut them or grindable-stuff to grind it.
