Why do we keep having this discussion over and over again ? Risking to ruin the game again ?
Focus your attention in trying to make the wilderness and PVP worlds more active and STOP trying to put more OP weaponry into the game like it happened on the other RS.

Even if people say they want something, sometimes that is not the best thing to give them.

Just use some other weapons and armor ideas that are not max tier (for example bandos helmet and armadyl gloves, you can name it differently obviously) instead of those max tier OP equipments and stop making non-pvp zones even more profitable therefore making pvp areas even more useless :s.

Use those NOT MAX TIER wepons and armor to actually revitalize wilderness and pvp worlds and not other areas to finally balance all the places in the game.
The wilderness creatures and resources still need your attention.

Put slayer drops and monsters in the wilderness aswell, for example, that would be a good start.

I don't understand why players are arguing the necessity of updates on this thread, instead of making their own. The topic by Mod John C is specifically to discuss the details in the developers blog, also to make any suggestions for change. I will add, he has done a great job! Very happy that the Abyssal Tentacle is polling the Strength option!

If you are upset that updates are being polled; it's nothing less than a vocal minority, as seen by the 75% or more who vote for change each poll. If you are worried that these may become over powerful, you are absolutely entitled to your own opinions! I, however, see the Abyssal Tentacle as a great oppurtunity for Pures & Mains alike in PvP. Also remember... it is possible to suggest newer up to date armors and consumables, to help balance out new weapons. These can take caution to avoid the mistakes of "nex sets."

Let's be honest those should've been 99 defence required :P :D ^_^

Tu pray, something's seriously wrong with you. And if u want to make point writing pages of the same thing over and over again will get you nowhere. You might have some valid ideas in there but to me it seems like PROPAGANDA
