By popular demand, I've added a question to the original post for the Abyssal tentacle to have an attack style for training strength*
***;i>Question: Should the Abyssal Tentacle have an attack style for training strength?</i>
For clarity I've also added some more information on max hits, the Abyssal tentacle can hit 1 damage higher than an abyssal whip and a combination of the occult necklace and Sot* would take the max hit of Ice Barrage to 37.

So excited! POST THE POLL NOW ! ! !
Everyone vote YES to Abyssal Tentacle & Strength Option! Give this one to the dedicated PK'ers, pures & mains who need this!
Quite excited about it myself, but I'll be voting no to the tentacle. Or at least to the way it works. I've seen way better suggestions in this thread which I would support. Which is why I'm voting it down

Whip strength training? Don't we have a Saradomin Sword for a reason?
only very wealthy players would use the whip for slayer/training because of the high cost, won't devalue or make the ss useless
And why exactly do you think it would be ONLY used by the VERY wealthy players? Half the people on RS have decent wealth and would afford to use the whip for everything they want. Realistically**** would drop badly - propably looking at ~2m or under.
Therefore, i think making the whip have a str training option would be a VERY BAD idea.
whip and sara sword both have a 70 attk req wielding a whip with its attachment requiers 75 attk which alone is on its own other level i see no real harm and most ppl would only use the whip for pking with a str option and still use a sara sword for str training.
I like the new ideas outside of allowing the abyssal tentacle to train strength. Melee training is pretty easy as it is, and the only thing that makes strength a little more difficult to train generally is the fact you can't use a whip to train it. This would only render the Dragon Scimitar and Saradomin Sword to be worthless seeing as they would really serve very little purpose in the game. That's my 2 cents, thanks for the hard work you put into these updates.
to all three your questions i say yes i like it
Question: Should the Abyssal Tentacle have an attack style for training strength? yes that would be helpfull
Tu pray -- dude i agree with what you said so much each week im watching the game i love being changed into a game for people that just dont want to do the work it takes to make a true lvl 99 in each skill 'drop the updates Jagex" let osrs be just that!
