do something about the pirates from mos le'harmless (quests or mini quests), to access more upgrades to the ships (items that only pirates can make) or missions to explore new underwater caverns that you have to draw maps for Bill Teach.

I like the idea of Sailing but I'm very concerned about the new rewards. Why are we constantly getting offered best in slot equiptmen*? I feel like almost every month theres a new BIS piece of equiptment or O* money making method being introduced. This is supposed to be oldschool, but the max gear at the start of 2013 is already well outdated. Didn't the devs learn from the mistakes of rs3? Power Creep is a real thing you know...

Will this power creep continue in the future? Will we get new BIS to go over our new BIS in a year or two? Will this game look anything like 2007 runescape in a few years? Will we get to a point where damage potential is so high, and due to a cummalative effect of chucking heaps of new features into combat, and since max hp is still only 99, will we be put in a position where we need to change the combat system, you could say in an evolution of the combat?

Are we going to get an oldschool v2 in 2023?

The reason so many BIS items come out of new content is mostly just do to the fact that if the new rewards weren't worthwhile, nobody would ever bother with the new gear and the content would just be dead on arrival. I think they've done a solid job at keeping the power creep quite slow so far.

Also, its already closing in on 3 years, and i'd say the game still looks like 2007scape. Sure there's a few new bips and bops here and there, but for the most part the core of the game has remained the same.

My feedback: some I have said before

In recent Q&A's it was made clear it wasn't final if logs or planks would be used for sailing. Planks would effect construction prices are thus a bad idea.
Some other people and I too proposed an idea to use a new type of plank (maybe timber beams) which were created by fletching (and the sawmill for lower level ironmans type players). They would give a lower xp than the unstrung bows of that wood type, but would eliminate the waste of unstrung bows maple and below, and can be used in sailing for a better money return.

Please don't use blurite, it's a quest ore and should never have been used for crossbows. Use black.

Switch Port Tyras and Burgh de Roth. Level 40 is too low for the elf area's (master quests required) compared to Morytania (intermediate quests required)

I like the spelling of Atlandys, I thought you were talking about Atlantis in the streams.

I would rather sailing content not be available to every player even if their sailing level is 1 and their friend has 99 sailing. Kind of defeats the purpose of training the skill. In my opinion, if you want access to a specific piece of content, you need the sailing level to reach it.

What I want to know is, will sailing be instanced, or will we be able to see other's sailing alongside us and sail together?

Also, as mentioned in the live Q&A we'll be able to go to tutorial island, but will we be able to go to the REAL tutorial island, in such a way that we could see new players come in, and multiple people could be there at a time, and we could go whenever we wanted? (meaning, not only in a quest setting where it's instanced)
(maybe there's hidden content in tutorial island we couldn't use when we were first there because we weren't high enough levels yet)

My questions:

1: From what I've heard, when we set out to sail we will be in an instanced part of ocean? Would we be able to also sail anywhere we like on the main game map? I'd like to be able to sail past (Non-restricted/quest)areas like catherby and see players fishing sand perhaps moore up and row to shore. For some areas where plays may not have access to because of skill or quest requirements there could be a message in chat that says "You cannot land here!"

I'd also like to be able to sail past other players ships and set off with my friends/clan members and their ships, forming small fleets to explore together with either on the live game map or in an instance.

2: In regards to PvP, if it is realized, I'd like to see ships utilized in clan v clan battles (safe and risked) at sea or perhaps amphibious landings in the wilderness or on pvp worlds, this could be a great addition to the pvp community.

Finally, I will surely be looking out for PDC competitions, I always have new ideas! :D
