This game is going to slowly die because of the lack of skilling updates that sailing would have brought. The truth is that old school is currently running on the veterans that used to play old school. These people are in their late teens or twenties and truth is, life is getting more busy for them and playing runescape isn’t always going to be a passtime for them anymore. We need new people to join the game, the younger generation.

Sailing could’ve revived the game significantly in the following year but thanks to the hesistant and over-skeptical selfish community, it won*t pass.

It won't pass because there are people who don't want change.

I would say these people are the most selfish. It's rude to not vote for something that would not affect you, and other people would enjoy.

That's rather the point of polls: asking people's personal opinions. It's not asking "What do other people want you to vote?".

Most of these splashing/nmz accounts voted no, also players who didnt read any blog or Q&A voted no because they dont know how or what sailing is.
67% is pretty good in my opinion, im pretty sure straw poll on a sailing Q&A stream will pass alot.

That is because people that watch that obviously want the skill, which isn't a fair representation of what the community wants.

We could almost have had Zeah by now if it weren't for these ridicoulous things like sailing, artisan and deadman mode.

Voted No. This is OLDSCHOOL. We came over to this game because your company ruined EoCScape.

Rather than go for shock and awe updates in order to suck money out of people, why not start with simple things like improving your server quality. Build upon game mechanics that made Runescape unique, like PvP. I kept playing this game not because of the content, but because of the friendships I made while PvP clanning.

i like to see people saying "they took away splashing so we vote no to sailling". seeing this community so selfish amazes me for the negative side. soon or later, if this keeps going this way, they will close old school and focus on RS3. Stop being selfish for a ******* litle. Thats why people dont want sailling, because apparently, they took away splashing and they think that devs should put more resources on developing some new boss or something. why? not everyone in the game is high lvl or like to PK.

so how about stop being selfish and thinking about the community once?

once more selfishness, dude think that not everyone is PVM or PVP, think about the community and give it a chance. they said "we want that this game take a different road of RS3" they didnt said "this game will always be 07" so stop being selfish

Why not? :L

I want other people to have fun, because... that's a good thing. If something doesn't affect me(or the game) in a negative way, I vote yes. I do that because there are probably other people who actually would enjoy the content. I have never tried out Iron Man mode and probably never will, same goes for Deadman mode. However, I voted yes to each one, because I knew many other people would have fun doing it, annnnd I wouldn't be affected in the slightest.

Imo, it's selfish to vote against something just because *you* won't use it.
