When it comes to the Fountain of Rune, allowing glories or rings to be charged still doesn't address the issue that the fountain is dead content for the new update. It currently gives no exp, and all people have to do is risk 3-4 items to charge their glories or rings. How about making people WANT to risk their runes in giving double or bonus exp for casting at the Fountain with THEIR runes, not free runes. This would make it high risk, high reward for the person casting, as well as pkers wanting to steal their runes.

Could the question about pvp armour specify that it is pvp armour? I had to do some research to find out what they were about.

Also, could it be mentioned that the smoke devil has a significantly reduced chance of a dragon plate drop than its boss counterpart? It seems to make more sense that way.

ye rune fountain need xp,.. or we could wait for the goldfarmers to build a "fountain bot" then see if they bot it later once wildy calms down a bit.

will be good if bots go there so we can kill em > :)

I think to note resources which you have gathered inside the area it needs to be more than 50 gp. Something more like 250 gp per item or so. I mean noting items and not having to go bank is a pretty big deal. You get a lot more experience and still make money. It is basically the equivalent of power-mining iron but getting to keep all the iron, except we are dealing with high level resources.


Coal and iron ores are under 250 gp, you'd be losing money to mine there.

Yew logs are 450-475 gp, you'd be essentially earning *half* as much and you'd have to risk a pile of cash. Magic logs are incredibly slow, so i don't even consider that a good money making option whatsoever.


I was mainly targeting the higher level resources with that suggestion. I originally put 150 gp than switched it to 250 gp. My point is it is too low and is overpowered for yews and magics and rune rocks, adamant rocks, and mithril rocks (not sure if mith are in there). I know the prices I can mine it, and I can woodcut it. I just think the 50 gp note option is a bit low for the benefit you gain. Noting items is super handy and should be a little more expensive if you choose to do so. Obviously it wouldn't be worth noting coal and iron. But who goes there for coal and iron? No one. Because you pay 7.5k gp to get in and walk out with 3k gp worth of iron ore max. Just stupid.

The PvP melee helm would need +4 strength to make it better than anything we currently have otherwise it would become pretty useless as Nezzy helm would be better.

Not sure about the black chinchompas, might devalue reds even further.

Dark Crabs really aren't worth going for, even if they heal 23. Maybe make them heal 30 over 2 bites of 15 each. (Or something similar that will make it worth fishing them)

You should consider polling the chest fix. It's not new that you can lure NPCS away for thieving. It's just new here. It's a feature some of us with high level thieving(I've been 90+ thieving in some form on some account since RSC) rely on.

Right now the wild chests are loot, and that's good because it brings pkers there. if you have to pray then it's not worth the money.

Changing the rogues being lured will kill it.

I hope you take this post into consideration as someone who's pkd at rogues, thieved chests, and BEEN pked at chests. It will become dead content if you change the way we can lure rogues.


The original concept we polled was to have the rogues be around to attack the players. You can regularly steal around 1.4 mil gp an hour so you'll still be well in profit.


No you'll just die to pkers because you can't log. Last night we pkd there for 3 hours and 2 other people were thieving the chests. It's a very very small club. Also it's 600k without dragonstones. Getting 12 dstones an hour is rare. I haven't gotten more than 8 in an hour yet. What's the rate on dstones?

The rogues still attack the players. They just don't hit them. Your poll is still true.

I don't see the updated fountain of rune being rewarding at all, why would I go deep in wild risking an inventory of expensive glories for just one extra charge per amulet when I can safely and more quickly go to heroes guild?

As for the resource arena I believe the risk far outweighs the reward still

The wild bosses are looking good though
