Honestly, I will be very upset if the Kalphite Queen doesn't get an updated drop table along with a new slayer monster that drops the dragon platebody.

The Kalphite Queen should drop the Dragon Platebody

I will not be voting yes on new PvM content that doesn't involve the wilderness updates until she gets buffed or unless she gets buffed with it. This is strictly based on principal. I don't think that all old content deserves to be revamped, but she certainly does.


Please dont be that guy. Im sure Jagex will look at buffing the KQ in the future, there have been multiple people requesting it.

The Wilderness was empty because the community is pretty scarce for the amount of worlds we have. To repopulate the Wilderness, remove worlds. Simple as that. When there's more players, add them back. 70 or so worlds for 15k players is too damn high imho.

The Wilderness was empty because the community is pretty scarce for the amount of worlds we have. To repopulate the Wilderness, remove worlds. Simple as that. When there's more players, add them back. 70 or so worlds for 15k players is too damn high imho.
That, and remove PvP worlds.

Thats not your opinion though thats actually a fact that there are to much worlds. I wish they just got rid of some already.

I think the dragon platebody should be made from a chainbody, adding extra armor pieces to reinforce it that would be dropped by the new boss. Those pieces would need to be forged to the chainbody (at the wilderness Volcano perhap?) to become an untradable dragon platebody. The pieces could be removed from the platebody at any time incase the player wants his money back of the chainbody, leaving nothing else but the chainbody itself.

In my opinion, making the dragon platebody untradable and forcing players to go deep into the wilderness, at the Volcano, to forge it would make the armor piece even more unique and rare as only the players who were strong enough to survive the PKers up there would have it.

I would also much rather have it made from a chainbody and 3 shards dropped from a boss monster. Just having the platebody itself as a drop makes it way too plentiful and it would be dirt cheap.


Whatever the specifics are, i personally don't mind as long as the end result is the prevention of devaluation of older content and possibly act as an item sink for older content.

I do love the shards idea though, posted it earlier in this thread.

I think they should do in old school what they did in 2007 when they changed the Wilderness and made it more dangerous like they just did by adding Revenants .. and that is to reduce the chance of going into the wild for clue scrolls ... Its nothing to get 3 trips into the level 50s wild on a single clue. Or keep the chance the same, but guarantee that if you have a good clue reward. There have been many occasions where I've had to go into the lvl 50s wild for a clue more than 2 time, and didn't even get any rune items. If the new wild is supposed to be all about risk vs reward, when it comes to clues, either lower the risk of going into the wild, or increase the reward.

I dont like the dragon platebody idea. We need a item that is rewarding for the high slayer lvl requirement. A item that will sustain a high value unlike the trident. The dragon platebody is just cosmetic basically and wont be used other than for the looks.
