And you're leaning toward (or outright) voting yes without information to be able to determine the potential damage to the old game.

Gosh, some of this community.

My stance at the moment is "let Jagex flesh this out more before disregarding it". If it turns out the skill doesn't feel right I'll certainly vote against it, but I think that people who have already formed a full negative opinion based on almost no information are doing everyone a disservice.

While this is true, the entire skill was trained in a single location, from 1 to 120. No other skill in RuneScape functions this way,

That isn't true.

Almost every production skill can be trained in the same location. Construction is also only trained in the PoH, but we don't consider it a minigame.

They *can*, but they can also be trained elsewhere. Dungeoneering literally cannot be trained anywhere but Daemonheim.

As for Construction, that's actually a really good point. The reason I didn't include it is that the entire skill functions as a backdrop form of utility to facilitate other skills. Most of what you do with Construction is either pretty or it helps you perform other skills better (portals, altar, etc.), and it doesn't give external rewards like a minigame/Dungeoneering does.

He's right how about construction O_o moving house doesnt really make a difference they can just move the boat to different ports that doesn't make it any different.

Also it is 100% a skill that isn't really what makes a skill a skill.

Punishing those who differ in opinion from you is asinine. Damn good thing you're not in charge, and never will be.

Not a punishment.

You said "No" i do not want this content. So you are getting exactly what you asked for! You asked to not get it, so you are not getting it.

Fair is fair!

(mild satire aside, you've got to admit this policy would make you think twice before instantly voting no for something)

This may seem harsh - but we currently have a very big problem with Old School updates - they are typically hard to pass the poll (the significant ones anyway). I can't think of any other solution.

Yet you want to criticize me for saying I'm leaning more towards no because they didn't follow thru on their statement that we'd get more specific info early this week (and I'm not putting a question mark because it's a rhetorical question).

They said we'd get a dev blog early this week that offered more specifics on sailing. They lied. The only thing this blog offers is answers to questions already answered on reddit and twitter.

Fool me once, shame on you (I took them at their word that more info would be provided early this week, and it wasn't) fool me twice, shame on me (I don't believe they'll offer additional info on Friday as this blog says they will because quite frankly, they lied in the last one and there's no reason to believe they're telling the truth now).
