Can't we just re-consider Dungeoneering WITHOUT the Rs3 Dungeoneering Rewards? I bet we could come up with something cool instead of just "No Dungeoneering At All"?
I have mixed feelings about Sailing tbh.. I just don't feel it :x
By RuneScape definitions, Dungeoneering was a detailed minigame, not a skill. This is just outright fact; it only happened in one place, the skill didn't benefit other parts of the game directly, you gained rewards that were applicable elsewhere.
The OSRS team is pushing Sailing instead because it's being designed from the ground up to be a fully fledged
skill
, rather than having all the limitations of Dungeoneering.

No thanks if it does pass its going to make more content only unlocked by sailing doesnt seem fair or will this not be the case
Would you still vote no, if voting no meant you would be blocked from using the Sailing skill? Just wondering (please answer honestly)
It is easy to say "hell yes of course im still voting no if i was blocked from doing it, it is a terrible idea" just for the sake of winning the argument.
Or would it at least make you think twice before instantly voting NO? I'm just trying to ascertain whether this policy for all updates would sway people to vote YES instead.
Resource dungeons were outside of Daemonheim. There are many benefits outside of Daemonheim such as items, pets, scrolls that help with other skills, etc.

As you may have seen, my previous posts have been less than enthusiastic... My vote is still currently: "hello no". However If i were to consider voting yes I would want to play a beta version of the skill to see what it would look like ect... I cannot visualize osrs graphics making sailing look anything but crap.
Great idea, lets have them put in the development time to make the skill first then when you vote no, they can ditch the plans.... you realize the point of polling this first is to prevent wasted development time on an entire skill if it doesnt pass.

I do agree that Dungeoneering is more "minigame-like" then "Skill-like", but it was so much fun to do with friends and leveling it up was super enjoyable aswell! I personally would find it amazing to get Dungeoneering, because it would give me something to do with mates whenever I'd be bored, besides PvM/PvP..
And no, I don't like Rs3, so pls don't tell my to go play that terrible game haha <3

Source: 120 dungeoneering, look me up.
While this is true, the entire skill was trained in a single location, from 1 to 120. No other skill in RuneScape functions this way, and the benefits you mentioned (other than resource dungeons) are more like minigame rewards than skill level benefits.

If you vote No for my Sailing, then I am going to vote No in revenge on your Dungeoneering poll.
