ship building, navigation, and exploration...... Please, please tell me if ship building is gonna be one of the methods to train the skill that the exp rate is the least amount of xp given to you out of the 3 total training methods (considering if its a buyable method).... I dont want this to be another skill where basically being rich makes you heavy amounts of exp and you barely put any work into the skill, and the only way to get through the skill is to do it super fast since thats how a lot of skills turned out to be.. I dont want this to be another buyable skill.... and if it is a buyable skill with the ship building training method please only make it 25-30k xp.. Ship building should be the least xp hrly especially since it has the least to do with what sailing actually technically is supposed to be.. Sailing is much more then ship building so if it is buyable skill, seriously.. dont make it crazy xp like construction or prayer lol or any other buyable.. Make it 25-30k at the max..

I think though for the whole skill in general the best method, whatever the best method may be, it should only be a max of 50k-75k an hr at the very very max experience for the sailing skill.... There should be a challenge to the skill, so the exp rates shouldnt be high and it should require a lot of work and dedication kind of how fishing and mining are.. 75k might even be an over exageration tbh.. 45k xp an hr would even be more then fair, after all this is a new skill and its called a "skill", its supposed to be fun and challenging, otherwise if its not its basically junk and pointless. Such a new skill should have exp rates similiar to mining, or runecrafting, slow xp skills that require work so its actually worth peoples time so they can actually enjoy it.. and not afkable.. otherwise if its also afkable thats horrible......

Idk, I for one think this is pretty cool.

Its so weird for me to play almost every MMO and then to come to here and see how most of the community is against content updates. That does not happen on any other game lol.
I haven't played RS since 2004

This has got to be the stupidest thing I've heard all year. I mean the talks about sailing skill 5-10 years ago was ridiculous enough but to actually even consider adding this to OLD school runescape? got to be kidding me. I just came back this month to the game an d bought membership.. refund pls? ill spend money elsewhere.

I can hear the sound of the Runescape sheep "baaahling" from miles away. Before dungeoneering came out THERE WAS NO DUNGEONEERING. **** mabye they should just come out with RSC for you kids and not release a single thread of new content.

Nope. It sounds like another mini-game already. Dungeoneering went into RS3 and the xp was almost too fast and easy to acquire; making it an easy 99 or 120 in this case. I think you need to do another poll and have the players come up with an idea of a skill because last time there was one, there were a lot of good ideas and there was multiple things to choose from. If you really want sailing, just make it a mini-game. There will be nothing wrong with that. I like this idea and what it can bring to the game; just not as a skill.

In your future poll, I suggest you ask a similar question to - "Should Sailing be put into the game? If yes, do you want it to be put in as another skill or a mini-game."

I just highly believe people would want it as a mini-game if anything.
