Add this to rs3, not to oldschool. Will vote no on all my accounts.

I would love to see dung instead of sailing

Isn't this known as fixing votes? Isn't this a rule?

You sir are the main reason I think Jagex shouldn't poll this update..

almost everybody who gets a vote is wreckless and not going to even read the first page..

stop being cry babys

im not crying, just saying my opinion and I won't change it.

Sailing sounds fine.
Like it and incorporating many other skills into a new skill sounds great.

However, Forced PVP in order to advance Sailing ...Not So Fine.
In fact, Not Good, to the point of being anxiety producing.

Don't force Skillers into being attacked by people in order to advance a skill, provide other methods of advancing that skill even if it takes longer to do so.

Perhaps those willing to take risks will advance faster, but don't make it impossible for those who don't enjoy being assaulted, killed and robbed to advance in any skill.

They asked for ways of fixing it :D so dw I doubt the PvP will be added

You say that while admitting to fixing the votes to make sure it doesn't pass? thats really fair?

Can't please everyone. Skillers choose to limit themselves from certain content. Just like how Ironman limit themselves from many things but yet when they want something, no one will vote for it to benefit them. So why should people vote to benefit skillers. If you want access to everything, then do everything. Plain and simple as that.

There should be an NPC that requires players to use sailor jargon, "deck, head, bulkhead, overhead, swab," and so on before they can make any real progress.

He should really get in the way, like to stop important things from happening, and enforce the vernacular with an insane degree of certititude.

He should also enforce old myths about the Sea, and tell tales that make no sense because of their unbridled stupidity (but turn out, half the time, to actually be true).

Then, the players can get a glimpse of what real sailing is like.

Honestly the community doesn't know what's best for themselves half the time. A lot of people abuse their ability to vote and even when things are polled, its always the stuff that makes the game easier that is voted for. I think this is a great idea.

Okay so I'd thought I'd put something on here worth reading. Jagex, I quit playing RS3 a long time ago when you attempted to fix something that wasn't broken. You've created a FANTASIC game. Leave it alone. I came back to RS /only because you brought back 07 RS. I wasn't impressed with the new additions to the game but I can manage. 07 RS is the only version of RS I will ever play. I'm so sick of you guys attempting to add new content when the game is already fine. Then game will probably never die out, and if it does, then oh well. You have an awesome run and ran one of the best MMORPGs I've ever played. Please don't convince me to quit this game again and don't give me a reason to either. That's all you're doing. You have a huge fan base who play the games. I'm sure revenue isn't what it use to be (or it may be better, I have no clue). DO NOT make the same mistakes you made in RS3. Let's be real here, that game isn't near as good as OSRS. Many will disagree... but that's my opinion. I will copy and paste this on every new "bad" update/developement/announcement. Jagex, do not turn your players away from the game with new content. Do not fix what isn't broken.

Sincerely,
A guy who just loves RS the way it is, and doesn't want it to change.
-Eventually OSRS will run it's course and face the same demise of RS3 cause Jagex tries to fix things that aren't broken. Enjoy OSRS while it lasts. It's all you can do.
