Hey can u guys make it so that the banks keys used to access another players bank expire a short time after that person is killed so that players cant hold onto them and use them weeks later for a long term investment.
It's going to be quite contradicting to play, as you can only keep 5 skills to protect, it will mean a lot of skills are going to be quite pointless actually and never be used. Interesting Idea though.
Can someone please explain to me a couple things I don't really understand.
We can use our original accounts, does that mean (I'm lvl 80 in game) I will be starting on the deadman server at level 80, all same stats etc?
Will I start with the same bank I currently have?
Thanks!

i think we need to stop messing around with this game. WE WANTED RS07! We didnt ask for rocket scientist mods who have brain waves and pollute the game with constant beta ideas. STOP IT ALREADY! ITS FINE JUST AS IT IS! THATS WHY WE ARE ONLINE!
Seriously!! what this guy said! ^^^^^^^^^^^ READ THIS !
This gamemode does not affect the game server you are playing on on OSRS. LOL Learn to read please.

You will start with level 3, just like normal, and you will have nothing. You will be starting on Tutorial Island just like normal as though you just made your first account.

Once someone dies, all their items are gone and therefore it no longer matters for that person. The killer can hold onto the key and it is theirs to keep; for that is the reward and it is now their bank. The only items not taken are items which are insured.

Dont get me wrong i love game improvements , and i like the fact that they are released weekly/monthly. We want great ideas to IMPROVE the game. Not revolutionary ideas that change the game completely. Keep these radical, ambitious ideas for RS3, with EOC where it belongs.
This game mode will not affect the OSRS you currently play. This game mode is technically a completely different world, you can call it OSRSDM.

I think everything is ok, but some things are better. I have 3 suggestions:
The first is to change the sizes of the safe areas. Some areas don't need as large of safe areas because they are less noob friendly. For example, Yanille, Tree Gnome Stronghold, Fremenik Isles, Port Phasmatys, Sophanem, and Void Knight's Outpost (I think that is all the places) should have small safe areas. In other words they should have only their banks as safe areas. If they don't have banks then there should be a designated area in those cities.
Included in this point is that the starting area should actually be larger in my mind. I think all of lumbridge and varrock and the areas between them should be safe. This means that the further you get away from the starting area, the less safe you are.
My second point is related to this. Like how you can fight higher levels the further you are from the wilderness ditch, there should be a similar system for being further from lumbridge/varrock for how high of levels you can fight. I don't think the levels should be very much higher than 15-25 levels above you.
I like your ideas, but the safe-zones are based on where guards can be actively. They are not there throughout the stretch from Lumby to Varrock and therefore are not safe zones. I do agree though that the gnome village should have smaller safe zones, but those gnomes guards are in the trees. Anyone should be able to attack anyone. Otherwise problems occur. Also once someone dies they instantly lose it all. Their bank is wiped except for insured items.
does one inventory mean that if you have 100 mil, they can take all of it in one slot?
frankly my dear, I couldn't give a dam. never had a river to build one on.
