I really like the idea, but i was thinking that maybe to make getting around a bit harder and to add challenge to the mode, could teleports be disabled?
This would disable everything except:
-All teleportation jewellery
-Spirit trees
-Fairy rings
-Gnome gliders
-Balloon transport systems
-Basic ships (not sure about charter ships)
-Any other kinds of non-magic teleports.
I feel that this would bring the focus more to questing, as a lot of these cannot be used without certain quests having been done. Also, it would make the game more strategic, as you'd have to plan routes to get to certain locations and would really bring the focus back to some of the things that i feel have been abandoned in osrs/rs3 that may have been popular before a certain update/etc.
In addition to this, I also feel that getting magic exp 5x as fast would make unlocking these levels for teleports a breeze and would make the game far easier.
Anyway, when you look at the amount of areas that magic can teleport you to, including the amount of poh (should they be activated) locations, it seems to me that escaping fights/pursuits and getting around quickly would be too easy for a pvp mode. Not sure about disabling ancient/lunar magic, though; i'd imagine that the latter would be useful for alliances.
