i seriously think this idea should be polled to the community so everybody can vote "NO". You guys already created rs3 and alot of people are leaving there for OSRS. Dont do it again with deadman mode, lol
But I don't like the lose half your xp idea. What does it even mean exactly? If you have 60 attack you will lose half your xp and go down to like 45 50 attack? No point in that imo..getting your bank raided is enough risk. Losing your xp is just annoying and doesnt add any fun to the game.
And if you raid someones bank can you take out items noted or not? makes a big difference
I think there should be a couple more safe spots for at least banks. There's not a safe spot miles around Karamja. Like make the Shilo Village Bank a safe spot. You don't have to do the whole village, just the bank.
an idea, that would make a lot of people happy, while still making a bit of profit, would be possibly linking a Deadman mode account, to another account, allowing them to share a single membership. This way you're still paying for membership, and getting all of the Deadman mode benefits.
the only thing i find strange is the exp rate to the cost of dieing to a player losing half your exp but only gaining five times faster? anyone could easily die multiple times a day and lose weeks of training with those rates should you not make it a less costly % or much faster exp gaining or only half exp in a random skill each death
