I really like the special attacks, especially the bludgeon one, it is really strong if you don't have many prayer points but that makes it really risky and it'll require lots of skill to be powerful.

I don't really know how the dagger will work out but it sounds good.

Things that ruined 2007 OSRS:

1. Bosses
2. GWD
3. Corp
4. Wildy Bosses
5. Snake Boss
6. High level gear above barrows/dragon
7. Bosses
8. some stupid Zeah boss I heard about
9. Kraken Boss
10. Smoke Devil Boss
11. Did I mention bosses?

FYI this list is months old and if I still played oldschool I could probably make it to 30 things by now.

Red Robin, care to explain how any of that ruined it? Are you even capable of doing so?

The vast majority of people wants the game to be updated, especially since it would become stagnant and die without them.

Believe magic to only be for support? Think again. It's just as valid of a Pking style as melee and range is.

"Abyssal bludgeon

The abyssal bludgeon is a two-handed weapon that requires 70 attack and strength to equip. It has the following stats:

+102 Crush attack
+85 Strength

The abyssal bludgeon will have only one attack style that uses crush and trains strength (and hitpoints).

It will hit once every 4 ticks (the same rate as scimitars). This makes the abyssal bludgeon lower DPS than the abyssal whip/dragon defender combination while making it superior to the Zamorak hasta/dragon defender combination.

Special attack

The special attack of the abyssal bludgeon costs 50% special attack energy and increases damage dealt by 0.3% for every prayer point that you are missing."

I always thought that this ability should be going to a new barrows brother and not a special attack weapon. I always wanted a barrows set that could increase power by lack of prayer points rather than hitpoints. This would be similar to dharok, instead of increasing power with every hitpoint lost this would increase power with every prayer point lost.

What do you think?
