People simply want the easy way out with magic as they have always done in Runescape. It used to be high alchemy back in the day to train magic and most people used auto-clickers to finish the act of 94+ magic. Everyone remembers it. But the difference between that and now is that was a bannable offense. You guys at Jagex and us as a community have somehow deemed splashing "ok" even thought they are abusing a form of combat to the extend the are gaining exp without clicking a single button for hours on end. Where do you draw the line Jagex? That is clearly where it should not cross. Magic has become a skill that is looked down upon. Some only find it useful to get to to 75 to unlock a trident and that's all the magic their accounts ever see. But in reality it is a great skill, highly balanced for Solo combat and multi-zones. Magic just needs to be properly applied.. Too bad all the wizards round here wasting their genius thinking up "safe" botting.
As for Wyverns and Zulrah
I find both of these enemies to be well balanced in their drop tables. All of their drops were either things botted previously (P ess, high tier logs, flax, battlestaffs) to enter the game, and now have much better ways to reward a PvM'er trying to train up their combat. Wyverns now incenticize prayer for many players as the drops themselves are decent enough to keep the bones for yourself too
Zulrah though is quite overpowered with one simply aspect, It simply is too quick to be able to return to her. The teleport tabs should be removed from the game and you should be forced by fairy ring or by taking the boat. This slows it down significantly. As for the drops, they are quite fine, nice stable items that are needed to create products from skilling or tree seeds that were previously hard to obtain in bulk.
