Boss tasks - Great

TzHaar tasks - Great

Jad pet - I'm not really keen on this, especially if you can trade in fire capes.

Cerberus - Nice idea but I'm a little unsure about its rewards.
Perhaps the boots and stones can come from different bosses so save one for a future update.
Plus I'm unsure about having an inferno adze like item and (what i'd associate with) glacor boot like items in game, however i like how they use current items to do so
perhaps bring their charges down so only 2000 logs will break the axe.

Abyssal sire - I like the boss however I dislike its reward. It basically sounds like a way to give pures a higher level weapon.
Plus i remember i didn't like what it looked like in the original Q&A.
I'd also like to say what is it? the abyssal whip is an abyssal demons spine so what is the dagger?

Extended tasks - Great
Broad darts - I'm hesistent because it sounds like a pure/range method of using items we already have. What is wrong with using other broad items?
Too many herbs in the herb bag, I'm thinking 100 of each (1400) is too much for 1 inventory space. Perhaps make it like 10-20 each because no one ever has that many in their inventory.

Stronghold expansion
I like that you want to expand the cave and put more of the NPCs about. However I am unsure about the introduction of baby greendragons, can we make sure they are slow slayer XP and a pain to kill because they won't be in the wildy?

Drop table improvements - Great, just don't make them OP like skeletal wyvern*.

Assignment refactoring - Sounds great, just don't change how we like slayer.

boss slayer: no if you will be able to use slayer specific buffs. I don't like that it is not specific boss task so it is just: go kill monsters. This is not slayer skill spirit for me.

Cerberus Drops: RIP all boots, all other ways to get good boots are now dead content. Whey don't make new boots upgrade to worse ones?

Smouldering Stone & Infernal Tools: yes but is this coal ore kill?

Abyssal boss shouldn't drop whips. the abyssal dagger has no place in the game due to staff of the dead. do need for replica weapons just to fill a slot up. If it does come it needs at least a special to have some sort of value to the dagger. As for the boots, I like the idea of using old tier boots to make new ones. Broad darts scare me a little bit because they might crash other darts. 85 slayer isn't a bad idea for the boss because it is "Abyssal Demon" so it shouldn't be higher. I don't think anyone will use dragon axes/pick axes on some stupid item similar to adze. Degradable items are not good. look at kraken tent. very few use it.

Couple of things I'd like to see changed. First, I don't necessarily like the idea of the boss slayer task applying to all bosses. Anyone on task with a slayer helm can dominate anyone who's not on task and just trying to boss for fun. If it were limited to just the new (and old) slayer bosses it would probably be fine, but allowing anyone with a boss task to crash people at corp or sara or arma sucks.

Second, the range boots look slightly overpowered. A +4 range bonus over current best in slot (and super expensive), which is already a +5 bonus over the next best option? I'd suggest +10 instead of +12 - it's only a small boost over current best, but lots of people would still pay tons for best in slot range boost.

Third, I don't like the listed requirements for the infernal tools. 85 smith but only 61 mining and then untradeable? If there were some form of infernal tools that were tradeable I'd be ok with it. As it is, they're not very useful.

Other than that, I like a lot of what I read. I hope everything will be polled individually rather than just one big "slayer update - take it or leave it".

You asked for what audience, there is a possible one. This could be people making alts and don't want to heavily quest, or do any that aren't required. An example would be what if a new account gets 60 attack and wants to train strength without questing? They can use Obby sword+necklace over a dragon scim.

But it still matters, if it didn't we wouldn't have an accuracy stat. Also some people prefer going for accuracy over strength even if it isn't better dps.

The staff of the dead is 75 attack requirement, this is only 70. Also I would be too sure about it being "much more" difficult to obtain, I will obviously be harder but to what degree? Assuming it's 1/512 drop rate. I wouldn't mind a decent special as long as it's not better than using ags/sgs/dds/crystal hally etc.

Some suggestions/criticism:

The abyssal demon boss shouldn't have a higher whip droprate than the abyssal demons themselves, with an item sink in place for whips it'd be weird to drop them more commonly now.

As part of the slayer update I'd love it if hellhounds would be added in decent numbers in places that aren't Nieve's cave.
I'd rather have non-crowded slayer monster spots that aren't in Nieve's slayer cave. Of course, to counter bots at blue dragons you could make it so that you need to be on task.

Part of the cool thing about Slayer is the variety, and it'd be sad if you never had to leave the Gnome Stronghold and Nieve's Cave from 1-99 Slayer.

Either make it so broad darts have only +1 range str (so only useful on Turoth/Kurask) or just scrap the whole idea.

I don't really want the Slayer cave to get much bigger aside from new slayer bosses.

It will come from a boss that cannot be killed off-task, so abyssal daggers will come into the game far less often than abyssal whips.

I find none of your arguments compelling in regards to how useful the dagger will be. You have acknowledged that it will have a niche use for pures/alts, but I don't think that is enough for a new weapon. Currently, the hellhound boss, which doesn't even have a Slayer requirement, appears to be much more appealing.

Abyssal demons drop whips, their higher level boss version should drop something of comparable, if not greater, use.
