The fact that bandos boots are completely dead content at this point should make them a
prime candidate for the upgrade. They are much harder to acquire than dragon boots and have
a higher requirement to wear, yet completely useless when you have cheaper and much better
alternatives in dragon boots, rune boots and even climbing boots.

If i had to choose between slaying in bandos boots or climbing boots (+2 strength), i would
pick climbing boots every single time. One is a rare GWD drop with a 65 defense
requirement, the other you get for 12 coins during an easy quest, requiring 0 defense to
wear.

That is a really bad idea actually. Bandos boots have +15 range vs 0 and +1 prayer vs 0.

The mob would not even give these sad boots +20 range defense lol...

If they were used with new boots that would be rather oped for a boot slot item.

+5 strength +22 all melee def +15 range def, +1 pray and a bandos item.

They can tweak the stats obviously. B boots are already + 17/18/19/0/15 changing it to 22/22/22/0/15 actually isn't that big of an upgrade. My thought was to have a fourth boot, this one defensive, and make that the bandos boots upgrade while having primordial remain the melee offensive. You can give it 0 bonuses on the Attack table, while giving it those defensive stats + 15 magic def so 22/22/22/15/15, and no strength bonus. It'll probably end up being the upgrade of choice for tribridding or tanking whereas primordial will remain the melee choice and the other two the best choice for their respective combat style. Also the upgrade will take away from the favor of the bandos god in GWD since it'll lose its name.

So we're letting bias destroy this update by adding three best in slot items and a degradable attachment by making the slayer requirement a joke? Great now 94-99 Slayer will be poised for more updates while minigames and skills fall further into obscurity. Voting no if Cerebrus is 84 Slayer.
Boss slayer is better now with a specific target but why add slayer helm? Bandos/Sara are both do-able with void as is, we're just adding DPS boosts, removing Serp helm uses, and rewarding Slayer XP for the hell of it now..

Disappointed with changes :(

The change to boss slayer that was posted on reddit seems really bad in my opinion. Getting to choose which boss to kill was absolutely fine. Now you pretty much have to be able to kill every boss in the game if you're going to unlock the boss slayer task. Before it made sense for people to unlock the task even if there was only one boss they could kill.

Slayer helm working on all boss tasks again is a great change. I felt this was important for the sake of consistency.

I do hope you go back to your very first boss slayer design as it was something more people would be able to enjoy.

I'm glad Cerberus' slayer requirement is getting lowered. Although I'd like it to be even lower than 84 because now the requirement is so close to that of Abyssal Sire. A requirement in the 70s would've been better in my opinion or no requirement at all. At any rate, 84 is a much better requirement than 95.

Maul seems pretty cool. Don't really have much to say about it. Hopefully we'll get to see some concept art soon!

So in a nutshell, I feel that boss slayer is going in the wrong direction whereas Cerberus and Abyssal Sire are starting to look really promising.

Agree with you on this.

If boss is under 89 slayer for 3 BIS boots ill vote no as well.

84 slayer sounds like the new wyvern v2...

The Abyssal Maul should be a 1 handed weapon if you want to consider it usable. The Maul in any case, would be slower and players would still prefer other faster alternatives. Probably something like a Mace would be a decent option instead

Extremely disappointed with this news on Reddit, 95 slayer was fine. I was finally going to be getting my slayer higher than 93 but that's not happening anytime soon. Please raise the slayer req to at least 90.
