While getting 72 slayer is not an easy requirement it is by no means difficult to obtain. 800k p/h is easily one of the best money makers in the game and even considering that slayer is a slower skill to train than most, getting 72 or even 80+ in most skills will not net you close to that amount.

There's also the fact that slayer monsters that require significantly more exp/levels than wyverns have significantly less profit per hour. Ne**ryeals, spiritual mages, dark beasts and even abyssal demons require more than double the slayer experience that wyverns require but can you get say a 400k profit p/h with Ne**ryeals? You'd be lucky to get that if even, simply put slayer monsters that require much higher levels than wyverns don't produce close to a fraction of the profit that wyverns does which is ridiculous.

Even looking at abyssal demons, to beat out wyverns you'd have to get a whip drop every two to three hours and even then that's unlikely. It makes much more sense to go to wyverns with a guranteed profit than to go to abyssal demons to have a chance of making a bit extra profit. Even if the buffs to spiritual mages and dark beasts pass, I find it very unlikely that they will make the same level of profit that wyverns do.

Having such a good monster at 72 slayer invalidates a lot of the reason to training slayer past that point which is silly*

There should be a poll about making nieve assign everything in the stronghold dungeon (as of now i think she just doesnt assign black dragons, bronze dragons, or waterfiends but she doesnt assign red dragons either if those are added) or at least add the option to unlock black dragons from nieve like with aviansies(even though that applies to duradel too)
I know the stronghold technically isnt "her" dungeon but come on she stands right next to it

Very happy to see a poll about increasing the number of blue dragons in taverly dungeon though its so annoying having only 3
Dont really have an opinion on the black dragons since I cant get assigned them(i use nieve because duradel has too many bad tasks) and even if I did want to kill them I would go to the evil chicken lair but I dont see why more shouldnt be added

I really like the idea of 95 slayer for the hellhound boss. Im currently 113k off 94 and will surely be grinding it for this update :)

Although it seems rather silly that a boss version of a requirementless creature drops 5 best in slot -upgrades. Perhaps you would like to take a look at that in creating a totally new monster (eg smokes/krakens) to drop the new BIS item upgrades.

Also the suggestions regarding the bandos boots for the new BIS boot slot upgrade ingredient seems more than reasonable, since they are not as easily obtained as dragon boots. (although d boots do have a slayer requirement)

Other that looks great!

I really like everything about the update! I'm just disappointed that you all decided to do away with broad darts. I was quite excited about that revision! I'm also not incredibly enthused about "boss assignments," although I am EXTREMELY excited about having a Tzhaar task and a mini Jad pet!

Zelda makes a great point. One major problem with Zulrah and wyverns is that they drop skilling supplies which kills the point of skillers going out and supplying the community. Replace these drops or significantly decrease them.

The special attack we'd like to offer introduces a bleed effect. For 50% special attack energy, your next attack will have double accuracy and whatever your next attack deals, will also be dealt again as a bleed effect over the next 6 seconds. So for example, if your special attack deals 20 damage, another 20 damage will be dealt passively as 5 hits of 4 over 6 seconds.


No... LOL I really don't want rs3 passive damage and bleed effect stuff in 07 and I doubt many other people do.. combined with double accuracy and this thing probably hitting 50s.. Way too powerful. Definitely poll the spec separate or come up with something that isn't such a change to the way combat currently works.

P.S. I saw no indication that the dev blog was ever updated (not even on twitter?) until I watched a video mentioning it. I'd prefer if significant changes like that were made that it be mentioned in a news post again or something.. I don't refresh something I've already read every day just to check for changes.

That is a really bad idea actually. Bandos boots have +15 range vs 0 and +1 prayer vs 0.

The mob would not even give these sad boots +20 range defense lol...

If they were used with new boots that would be rather oped for a boot slot item.

+5 strength +22 all melee def +15 range def, +1 pray and a bandos item.

A world of no.
