Details on how slayer tasks are assigned are very intriguing. Can't wait to optimise my block list to get rid of some of those common dangerous tasks. I just hate those metal dragons, they don't drop enough to cover supplies and if I look away for too long I get cooked. :'(

Speaking of death. When can we expect the death system rework? (or at least prioritise items by their GE price as those are nearly stable) I really don't like the fact that Guthan's Helm and Warspear are several million due to the sole fact that their high alch price is 61.8k and 61k respectively. Even dragon platelegs protect over them... The current death system is the only reason I am reluctant to do anything other than AFK combat*

**;DR Slayer task assignment statistics are cool. Dieing sucks when a 150k item protects over an 11m item. I am a coward. The OSRS team is doing a wonderful job with the limited resources they have. I expect more great content in the future! Just don't make the game too easy. ;)

Abyssal demon boss doesn't seem worth it.... a dagger that can train strength but is weaker than hasta, seems only a pure would use. And Hellhound boss should have a 90+ slayer requirement.

I'm all for more spawns of current monsters in Nieves cave as so many worlds get packed, but putting black demons in there will kill off taverly dungeon even more. Other than that it looks good.

Hopefully after this slew of slayer updates, we can move onto something else. You all (the mods) act like slayer is this massively popular skill, but only 12% of people voted for it on the last priority poll... which is far from popular if you ask me. After these updates, which I don't even think are needed (but I will still vote for them), maybe we can move onto something that actually matters and needs content.

Oh and I will be voting no to broad darts. Even at 100gp each, they're nearly half the price of adamantite darts. Broad bolts destroyed the adamant bar market (they dropped by more than 1/3), and broad darts would do the same thing. Broad items have a single purpose: Killing turoths and kurasks. They should NOT be a cheap, powerful alternative to current ammunition to be used on practically every monster in the game, which honestly is the only reason they're even being spoken about.

"But they require 55 slayer to use!" - 55 Slayer is a pathetic requirement that can be obtained in a matter of days.

Everything looks really good but I do have a few recommendations (some of which are probably already mentioned). The slayer bosses should require a higher level to do, especially the abby boss. 90 at least in my opinion.

Also, for the cerberus boots, why not instead of dragon boots do bandos boots to make them actually worth something. Dragon boots would still be good for players that couldn't afford the bandos + collar combination but also put bandos boots on the map and desirable for those that get it as a drop at GWS.

Furthermore, does the abyssal dagger have a special attack of some sort? I'm surprised it wasn't mentioned in the post. It seems like an intriguing weapon nonetheless. I imagine it as the almighty dragon daggers successor (but it cant be too OP of course).

Edit: I agree with a few of my fellow posters that the slayer cave is becoming a bit much, in all honesty, it should only contain a few bosses if anything. Slayer used to have me looking up where I had to go to find the monster then come up with a plan on how to get there. Now it's just me going to the Gnome Stronghold (Bad location for the cave in the first place) and going into that cave which kills the exploration part of the skill. Please consider polling an option to nerf the cave.

Lastly, I like combat and boss updates as much as the next guy, but I think that after this is all worked out it is time to show other content some love.

Two posts, too many characters.

Boss slayer is all wrong, the way it is discussed in the blog just means you get assignment for free bonuses and slayer exp on any boss you like. You should be assigned a specific boss to kill and the bonus slayer exp is not needed, the boost from slayer helm on the task is incentive enough to do the task. There is a huge variety of bosses so maybe give us different block list for boss slayer specifically?
The Jad task and pet sound fine, the xp/h for this task is nothing to complain about.
For the Cerberus boss should be very difficult to kill, from what I've seen and heard the other two slayer monster bosses ARE pushovers; you just deal damage and eat. For a boss that is dropping such powerful rewards it should be both supply intensive and the player should actively be reacting to the boss.
The collars should be rare, we don't need more of alch value slayer drops. For eternal boots I wouldn't mind needing to also infuse wizard boots with it. For primordial boots infusing bandos boots would give value to that item. The smouldering stone sounds alright, the cost of use will be a fair trade-off for the ability.
The Abyssal Sire will be a nice addition but its signature drop of abyssal dagger will be pretty much worthless other than for pures to train on stab-weak monsters which is extremely niche. The abbysal dagger could use a special attack, possibly the same as the dragon dagger? Or make it an offhand weapon that sink dragon defenders. Whatever you decide, something should happen to the weapon because in its current state it is very underwhelming.

More monsters getting an extend task option will be nice.
Broad darts have a fair cost attached to buying but then you may as well not introduce it at all and have people stick to using mithril and adamant darts. Broad darts are not needed.
Herb sack sounds like a very handy item to have, I'd welcome it.
Expanding neive's slayer stronghold cave seems appropriate with the overcrowding as well as increasing spawns outside.
Nice to see dark beasts and spiritual mages getting a buff to drop table but don't go overboard and make another wyvern or zulrah or the community would be quite angry. Bear in mind making the basics better will push the signature drop prices further down (in this case the darkbow and dragon boots).
Rewriting the slayer assignment list would be great, I can say from personal experience when I started OSRS I was heavily, and I stress heavily penalized for unlocking jungle horrors, it was one of the most frequently assigned tasks and at the same time very unrewarding and possibly the worst exp of any task.
