Amazing dev blog! Thanks for all the info, looks like a great few months to come! :)

One side note though: when you say you're reworking the drop tables for Dark Beasts & Spirit Mages, does that also include the infamous Hellhound drop-table rework too? I know a lot of veteran players including myself have been waiting for them to drop more than bones/clue scrolls for quite some time now ;) .

Bosses sounds good, particularly that ominous dimension expansion behind Cerberus. Very classic Runescape ideas, good job. Adding areas, new terrain, is always nice in the context of dimensions or far away lands.
My major criticisms would be of the weapons and armor dropped. I see this going on a lot, and just please, stop. You don't anticipate the type of application the weapons will be used****, weapons are over-represented in the wildy (armor is not) It's not something you're going to change, so, don't further inflate damage. like, STOP, NOW!
On another note, you do need to find something ELSE to put in place of weapon drops for these new bosses.

Don't release that weird smoldering axe stuff, that's Runescape 3 shinnanigans. Make the guy that came up with that WATCH his avatar train divination for 3 hours. Disable opening any other programs on his computer. If he loggs out, start the timer again.

Everything else seems good, broad darts are ominous but I think they will work out.

Oh, and can you make a button that makes other people pets click-though/invisible? While others seem to enjoy them, I find them a cluttering nuisance that create unnecessary right-clicking.

Hey, here's an idea: Work on a high detail mode for OSRS, same models, better resolution/texture. ( Don't deviate from these two rules when designing)

stats on the improved boots are horrible. Melee one doesnt even offer an increase in strength bonus. You've coded the game in a manor where accuracy means barely anything so the fact that they offer a very minor accuracy improvement to me and im sure many other players they will be seen as worthless. "I've been playing since 2006 but jagex made me quit 11/20/2013"

Not a fan of the inconsistency with the boots; need level 60 melee boots, need level 60 magic boots, but level 40 ranging boots? Increase the integrity of the game and perhaps introduce level 60 ranging boots in someway with this update which will then be used to make the new boots.

Not a fan of boss tasks tbh, and i'd rather more things weren't added to the slayer save but spread around RS but rest sounds good.

I hope that there is some kind of a risk when fighting those bosses ( no more zulrah kind bosses, NO OP drop tables etc. 100 raw sharks!!!). And maybe u need 70+ firemaking to enter new area because it so dark in there and u need to burn some herbs to light up the area requiring 70+ herblore and you need to steal planks (70 thieving required) made of special wood to build a bridge to access the bosses. Also don't devalue slayer tower too much.
Edit: Maybe even add new slayer monster to underground pass and it would be good xp and money but hardly accesable.

Give the Abyssal Demon head a use. It would be cool if we could use them to make an Abyssal Demon pet. I've got 3 heads in my bank lol.

Don't overdesign the new boots to where it doesnt really go along with anything. Try and keep the graphics simple looking, if you could, without an Rs3 syle design.

If you could, try not to group all slayer monsters into Nieve's slayer cave. Try to spread them around runescape, or improve existing areas.

Make sure Slayer xp rates arnt affected alot with Slayer assignment refactoring.

Overall, this all looks good. :)
