Why 90+, there is already a lot of stuff requiring 90 slayer. It isn't fair to those who are in the 75-85 slayer ranged. Abyssal demons require 85 slayer and its boss variant should have the same slayer requirement. Hellhounds on the other hand don't have a slayer requirement I will be okay with a slayer requirement but it has to be between 65-80 slayer.

Why 90+, there is already a lot of stuff requiring 90 slayer. It isn't fair to those who are in the 75-85 slayer ranged. Abyssal demons require 85 slayer and its boss variant should have the same slayer requirement. Hellhounds on the other hand don't have a slayer requirement I will be okay with a slayer requirement but it has to be between 65-80 slayer.

reconsidering this, a 80 slayer req for cerberus will be ok considering it normal variant doesnt have any req, but the sire will be ok for 90 slayer I think

Hellhound boss should remain no slay requirement or something low like 50-70. Higher level slayers already have slayer bosses, it would be nice if lower levels also got a little action.

Abby dagger should have a special. Possibly same spec as dragon claws that hits 4 times but it takes 60-100% spec so you can only spec once.

Players completing the fight cave would have a slim chance of getting a Jad pet upon defeating TzTok-Jad himself. Your chance of receiving the pet when on task is double that of a player completing the cave normally.

Abyssal Sires will also have a chance of dropping abyssal whips and heads as well as a very low chance of dropping an abyssal minion boss pet.


Keep the boss pet drops to the actual bosses please. Jad pet should only be receivable upon defeating Jad, and the Abyss boss should only give the Abyss boss pet etc. Minions giving the pet makes no sense and there's enough pets as it is - Particularly the Jad pet should be an elite one and there aren't many people that can kill Jad successfully every time; Keep it an elite boss pet please.

Don't make droptables OP.

Bosses need a slayer requirement.

Abyssal dagger seems OP.

I think there should definitely be a higher level requirement on the bosses. I know as it stands there is no requirement for hellhounds, but if they make the drop table as Op as Zulrah then it'll be ridiculous. Zulrah has practically no requirements and can be rinsed by low levels and that has really affected the economy.

The Cerberus boss is going to effectively drop the highest tier boots in game but you don't want a slayer requirement? It's going to leave people farming it who haven't bothered to train slayer and this is a SLAYER update - yet you don't want a required level? Combat is too frequently becoming a replacement for skilling, for example, Zulrah crashing the market for farming, if something doesn't have an alch value, it's very difficult for it to hold it's price (Yew seeds are now more expensive than magics). I digress. BUT, I think we seriously need to think long and hard about the requirements AND the drop table as too often it's released and amendments are being made after.

Also, kill "x" of any boss is ridiculous, needs some kind of specificity.

But as a first blog, it looks great. Just needs some thought and interaction with the community, hopefully it'll work out well.

I feel like a key drop would be better, so say, kill hellhounds and that gives you the ability to get into the boss lair. So that way you are encouraged to actually perform against the boss and use decent supplies, instead of just endlessly farming it. It would also means drops wouldn't be as frequent, thus keeping their values higher. Just a suggestion.

Unfair? How is it at all unfair? If anything it's unfair to the higher level slayers for not getting a 95/96/99 monster as they have train their accounts and should be rewarded for it. If you want to kill the best slayer monsters, then those 75-85 slayers should simply train the skill.
