Thanks for confirmation, What Mod John C said the other day led me to the wrong conclusion then.
I don't know what he said, but since we don't give exact drop rates straight after launch, I guess we'll have to wait and see.

So buying the Clue scrolls, will it be a set price for every time you buy?
Yes.

... if it is just a roll of the dice lower level players might wind up with elites they don't want and higher level players will getting easy tasks they don't want.
You may not get the tier you want. However, the more days you go back to buy more, the more likely you are to get what you ask for.
If you get a clue you don't want, or can't do, you can chuck it away.

Also, will the completion off the clue scroll that is bought affect the level of the next clue scroll that is bought? or can it just be discarded, and hope for better next time?
It can be discarded, and hope for better next time. Again, the more days you buy one, the more likely you are to get the tier you wanted.
At first you've got a pretty low chance of getting the requested tier, so don't imagine it's going to be elites all round straight away.

The crystal hally update said we would be able to recharge crystal seeds into halberds at Ilfeen, but this character doesn't do that, we can only buy them Islwyn, will this ever be fixed?

Is this just jagexs way of creating a money sink (unpolled) because of the cash that was put into the eco from Mod Reach?
... If thats the case; why didn't you just say that?
It's honestly fascinating how people come up with theories about how X means Jagex is secretly planning to do Y because of Z, and the more Jagex denies it, the more obviously it's a massive cover-up...
This is a community event based around clue scrolls.
It's not a sneaky cash sink, and frankly it wouldn't be a very good one even if it were.
So then why, STILL has nothing been said about what Mod Reach did to this game? the community want answers; P.S, always enjoy Q+A's more when you're on them.
Mate, there is something called privacy of you employee ex or not!
Imagine you doing something at the work and the next day your employer put it on the front page of the newspaper. Why cannot the community respect someones privacy and leave the situation as is. He did something wrong and was laid off for it. Fair enough, he made a mistake and paid for it... end of the story. Jagex obviously don't want to ruin his entire career; also a bit of google search doesn't hurt; his dismissal has nothing to do with the corp beast bug as stated on reddit.

He attempted to use his access to do something that should not be done. The newspost about his departure clearly states that it got caught before the economy was affected.
Beyond that, the details of an employee's disciplinary proceedings should be kept between Jagex and Mod Reach himself. It'd be unfair for us to post full details of a private matter, no matter how many people on the internet beg for more juicy gossip.
@Ash
, I have noticed that when looting the Barrows Chest after completing the Morytania Hard Diaries, it often spams the message:
you receive more runes for completing the hard and elite tier diary of the Morytania achievement diary
more than once, in fact, I have received it six times when looting the chest only once.
Interesting. curiously, will there be any increased chances for items in the clues? a bit of juicy incentive would be really good, or would it just defeat the purpose if you can get the better items in the easier lower clues?
