Is this just jagexs way of creating a money sink (unpolled) because of the cash that was put into the eco from Mod Reach?

... If thats the case; why didn't you just say that?

I looked into that, but ran into the problem that anyone who'd completed the task and claimed the rewards would be able to claim the XP lamps again if I started trying to undo it. Which I think would be worse.

Add a check for 91 smithing before they can use any of the rewards for Ardougne. :)

or you could rather lock it at 86 Smithing considering someone honestly did use the spicy stew to boost their smithing level. At minimum, unlimited teleport to the farming patch and the cloak should be restricted to players with 86 Smithing.

It's honestly fascinating how people come up with theories about how X means Jagex is secretly planning to do Y because of Z, and the more Jagex denies it, the more obviously it's a massive cover-up...

This is a community event based around clue scrolls.
It's not a sneaky cash sink, and frankly it wouldn't be a very good one even if it were.

So buying the Clue scrolls, will it be a set price for every time you buy? or will it work on a roll over system where it will increase in price and then also in difficulty? because i feel like if it is just a roll of the dice lower level players might wind up with elites they don't want and higher level players will getting easy tasks they don't want.
Also, will the completion off the clue scroll that is bought affect the level of the next clue scroll that is bought? or can it just be discarded, and hope for better next time?

So then why, STILL has nothing been said about what Mod Reach did to this game? the community want answers; P.S, always enjoy Q+A's more when you're on them.

I like the Mo idea, everyone will get to do some fun treasure hunting everyday with their friends and see what they get. Clues aren't exactly rare just from playing normally and the average value of the rewards are very low. Thanks for the great job you and the rest of the OSRS team are doing.
