People are not going to want HD graphics because nobody is mentioning a toggle option. I can pretty much guarantee people on here (including myself) love and adore the old graphics and animations to the depths of our souls.

No toggle
= people feel like it's being forced upon them and the natural reaction is resistance (which means it won't pass in a poll)
Toggle
= people can comfortably decide which to use and it satisfies both parties. :)

Even with the graphics toggle, it would be tedious. So therefore,
I would like to see only a toggleable HD interface without the HD graphics for now
. If the interface has a toggle option, like RS3 has one between its EoC and Legacy interfaces, I would be happy. The question is, is an HD interface possible without the HD graphics? :P

It is sad, and it's only happened because the servers were brought back to 2007 instead of 2006 or sooner. The nostalgic players wanted 2006 and I seem to recall it had the most votes, but it would've also kept us safely away from updates like GWD or GE.

Unfortunately 07 was as far back as Jagex could go, and the inevitable updates like GE were on the horizon in 07 (mixed in with a newer community) that has destroyed having a chance of an older RS again.

For me, anything past May 15th 2006 (and especially updates like GWD or GE) was the line between oldschool and newschool Runescape. Personally I want 2004 back, wasn't a fan of Runescape Classic that much but RS2 introduced music tracks and emotes.

seriously? you think the majority of players play this for nostalgia? there was a poll that showed only 16% played it for nostalgia. even if it had started in 06, the results would have been the same. frankly my dear, I couldn't give a dam. never had a river to build one on.

Old School will have Membership Bonds. They will only be used to purchase membership and will be separate from RS3 bonds.
