Mod Ronan, I love the idea about a trimmed quest cape, as well as an achievement cape. Nevertheless, I think the trimmed quest cape should be completely unrelated to the achievement diary. It's not fair that the completion of the achievement diaries allow you to get both trimmed capes, but completing all the quests just gives you one untrimmed cape. Please rethink the requirements to make them separate. Or leave both capes untrimmed.
