I look forward to everything else except the GE. The GE needs more tweaks done to it in order to prevent the problems it caused in RS3. The following should be implemented to the GE as I feel that a price range would be a lot better than a single GE price, and we should have the ability to see the offers like the TP.

1. Make it so that the GE doesn't formulate, price tag, or set prices (GE values) on items. By doing so, the price can't be easily manipulated, and players won't be coerced into buying or selling at the manipulated "market price" all the time. Also, players will maintain a great degree of control over prices rather than the system telling them a formulated buying or selling price. Instead, the GE or price checker should only provide a price range on an item. That would also eliminate the dreaded hassle of buying or selling at 5% over or under the market price. For example, the price of mind runes would show 3-5 GP instead of 4 GP.

2. Like the TP, the GE should show candidate offers from other players so that players can ultimately decide on the best offer rather than going gung-ho on a totally automated system.

3. Instead of a totally automated system, the GE should have a "Buy from Player X" and "Sell to Player X" option. Afterwards, the money or items can be collected from the collection box or the GE.

4. If players need to price an item, it should be done in the same manner as the GE. It should only include a price range (the minimum and maximum price) without giving an absolute value in a similar fashion as OS Buddy's price checker.

5. The only time the mean price, absolute value, or GE value of an item should be implemented is with Coin Share and Loot Share. Otherwise, buying and selling items should be based on a price range and players' willingness.

6. In the event of a newly-released item, again, no GE-suggested price or market value should be given. It should be entirely up to the players to determine the price range as will all items.

G.E. has it's pros and cons. I wouldn't consider it but it was very handy in obtaining the items you needed a lot quicker. then just standing in varrock saying repetitive responses until someone traded you for a certain item you needed for questing and what not. Give it time or another chance it can be very beneficial.

For those saying GE ruined the ECO on rs3, how? It just makes buying and selling more convenient so how's this bad? With rs3 EOC, it's only "bad" cause **** gets farmed too easily so this causes prices to plummet... Saying GE ruins ECO's is far from stupid, it's idiotic! It's communities that set the economy, not an automated system that takes into the account what PEOPLE are setting items to.

@ metal little,

Since when did G.E price-tag helped price manipulations? If an item is hoarded from the ge, the price would be nowhere near the G.E price-tag..do you really think people would look at the G.E Medium price?!?. Example: 3rd-age druidic or 3rd0-age weapons soon to be.

with the grand exchange coming out as a buy/sell option it will cause merchers owning the game even with buy/sell limits. this will cause prices to raise skyhigh and cause pvmers/pkers/etc to die off cause of ridiculous prices small scale and big scale, so you have to reopen the poll for artisan and tell why it needs to pass the reason is because if it were all economy based getting what you want would be so freaking expensive due to merchers raising the prices and the ge will cause that on a mass scale so for a balance they need player skilled items from artisan pertaining to gather/forging etc bonuses such as giving you boosts through them etc like a triple harpoon catch three sharks at once this will make it to where people that go out and do stuff instead of price gouge all day have a chance but slight drawback they have to go do it themselves but thats ok cause economy still plays a roll. like void over other gear but slight drawback less defense so economy still has a part but its not the very best gear ingame, but gives people that do stuff on their own a chance at the game, artisan has to pass or something that boosts player skilled items for all the gathering/forging stats etc and player skilled weapons have to pass or i think there will a huge dropoff in player activity due to excessive prices on things small scale and big scale pertaining to weapons/and all the stats and what their made up of we rlly need more loot respective mobs and rewards on a wide scale for more balance as well
