Bonds are there to retain players, making membership more accessible. I've made it very clear in many of my posts I know the trend of MMOs are that they are becoming more unpopular. Again, people who don't want to pay membership fees can enjoy the game by offering up some of their in-game wealth.

Bonds are nothing to help the player, just to line the greedy pockets of the company that used to care about this community.

If they really wanted the best solution they would offer the ability to buy membership by spending 3m for a month or what ever.

Bonds are just an excuse, the elephant in the room, there to take in players real life money to give bonus items in a game.

Rather have no F2p than have Bonds in OSRS

The game won't die anytime soon. I just want to make a few points about your post.
1. you are acting a if it isn't already possible to do this without breaking rules, but it is, it would just be a much safer way of doing it.
2. You say 'without even playing', but i've never seen a level 3 in full veracs.

** mentioned, this would just lose money. At the end of the day they are a company, and for the longevity of the game need to continue to make a profit. I'd rather see the game last a few more years than it would have for such a small thing. People are making out like there will be 100s of players who buy 100s just to buy money, but i doubt that would be the case.
