Bonds have 100% no downsides if anything they will help this game and the players out a lot.
I for sure will be voting yes
So you believe legal gold selling does not damage the game?
Are people really this stupid?
We don't want players to be able to buy their way to success in RuneScape. If we let players start doing this, it devalues RuneScape for others. We feel your status in real-life shouldn't affect your ability to be successful in RuneScape.

I think yes they are... Or too young to understand all consequences. Real world trading was never good for game atmosphere.
I'll vote
NO

It also can't be ignored that people can already buy bonds in RS3 and swap to OSRS which is 100% legal and pretty much risk-free if using the popular streaming swappers. And for the record, swapping has been around since RS2 release, people swapped between RSC to RS2 and vice-versa and jmods and players alike are fine with it.
Where there is a demand, there will be those who will take advantage of it - gold farmers. With bonds it would make it less profitable for gold farmers as well as help fund the game we love.
Afaik pretty much every free game nowadays are coupled with MTX, and Jagex has tried to keep it out of the game as long as they could but the reality of the situation is that it is needed. People refer to the glory days when the game was free and without MTX but times have changed and that model isn't going to work.
The people who own the majority shares of Jagex aren't stupid, if they think F2P alone would be beneficial and worth the risk they wouldn't have taken so long with the process. Much bigger MMORPGs than Runescape have their version of bonds, and I trust those companies know what they're doing too.
Yes to f2p permanent , hell your already asking for 10* usd instead of 7.99$ and before that it was 4.99$ usd. Sweet Jesus.
No to bonds we don't want players accumulatin ingame wealth if they are we'll off (wealthy) in real life. That ruins the fun of the game. Micro transactions for you to profit off of wealthy people.

Except OSRS is not free and the paid members will still be effected by MTX. Microtransactions themselves are fine, but only if they are done correctly, which is something Jagex are not capable of.
You know what doesn't work? Subscription models, adding microtransactions to that just adds fuel to the fire.

Yes they did, you imbecile, they made gold buyable and made people get the best gear when they did not even play the game.
