If bonds pass, can you still buy membership with money, just like you can now?

Yes. It's an additional way to get membership, not a replacement.
You will never get anything for free. Anyone claiming that is trying to scam, lure or hijack you.

Can someone tell me how permanent F2P + bonds means OSRS will grow?

Because from what I'm seeing on the graph OSRS with bonds in 2020 will have around the same amount of members as in 2015.

daily reminder GE and microtransactions will be in game before resizeable.

daily reminder GE passing opened the door to microtransactions.
it was all part of the plan

they made trading post with flaws so no one likes it.
polls ge it passes because no one liked trading post.
as soon as ge passes membership increases and then right after we get blackmailed into voting for bonds if we want f2p.

is the same thing gona happen with gravestones? everyone got used to the 10 minute death timer, so when you poll gravestones everyone will want them.

what happened to the player designed content polls?

Totally agree with you. It is pure blackmail from Jagex side. I know so many games which were "killed" by owners greed. And I see the same here now.

Jagex even do not hide, that they dont want to get more players, they just want to keep current players, suck their money as much as possible before everything will get f***ed up too much. Thats sad and thats why they increased membership price. It will really stop a lot of new players come to this game because pay for this game 10 $ for new gamers will look stupid.
Contrarily, they had to reduce membs price to 5usd and add f2p permanent, then promote this game very hard, also integrate with social networks (facebook, steam etc), integrate game to consoles and smarthones = these steps would be leading in a huge player base boost (not the bots) and great success. Instead of this they are choosing easy way - RWT. In short term, they will be a winners, but then everything become a sh*t again.

sorry for true, guys.

p.s. last suggestion! if bonds will pass (they will ofc) please, separate this game to rs2 and rs2+bonds - and let players choose where they want to play this game.

MMOs in general are in a declining trend. The addition of bonds and F2P will slow down or even counteract that decline.

Congratulations Jagex, it took you under two years to kill the game's integrity.

I think that deserves a special award, don't you?

We don't want players to be able to buy their way to success in RuneScape. If we let players start doing this, it devalues RuneScape for others. We feel your status in real-life shouldn't affect your ability to be successful in RuneScape.

there are quite a few players using the bot-counter argument. this is jagex's problem to deal with, and we shouldn't accept something that will make the game worse in lieu of their failure to deal with bots.

anyway it still hasn't been explained just how this will reduce botting - on the contrary it will make it more attractive, because then people will be able to bot for gp and also bot for free membership. this is an additional incentive to bot.

Pretty much this, I actually voted yes to the GE this time around because I was fed up with merc* bots but if I had known this would be the result.....

If bonds pass, will we still be able to redeem bonds on ruenscape 3 for oldschool membership?

Yes, if you want to that is. You aren't forced to redeem them on rs3 if this poll passes.

If I am going to be perfectly honest I don't entirely understand this whole bonds and permenent free to play poll. But here's an idea instead, when a player is to pay for membership in relation to old school runescape could it not just be an option to pick another account in which can access the F2p services for players to make pure pker's and train till they think their account is ready for P2p serivices. I know in a recent Q and A stream you guys were talking about the fact there is a cost of running these servers and you get no profit it return. Maybe have another payment option which cost slightly more than the standard (£1 more per month) price which gives you access to register 1 more account to play the F2p game (even existing players), this could even encourage the players to also make that account a full member in future. Thanks for reading.
