I thought that the initial problem with the single central GE booth was with rendering so many characters at once. If the masses want the single booth, the rendering problem will still be a problem. However, if the GE is accessible through each trading post in each city, people will spread themselves out over the entire map and there will be less rendering problems in Varrock. If we can already pick up our purchases in each bank, why not have the ability to place orders from each bank? It is a 50/50 split on the vote atm, so why not use the Jagex vote to decide what will make the game run best - either use the 4 booth structure or the trading post remote access!

Blue, I think the general consensus is that we won't have that rendering problem with our smaller population. Also, for some reason the players who endlessly complained about the proverbial World 1 Varrock seem to think that with the GE it's ok to just move that mass of spammers northwest a bit, and then we'll all be happy because we all have to go there now instead of doing our trades from where we were and getting back to playing the game. Honestly, only 25% of us were against the GE and now twice as many want the GE to suck the rest of runescape dry?? I don't get it.

Okay, I get it now. 72k ppl voted in the poll should we have the GE or not. Less than half of them cared to vote in the survey about the possible locations, 36k total, and the 10k of those that wanted only the Varrock GE have gone on to vote for it in the current poll. Only 1/3 of those who don't want the GE to ruin us have stuck around to vote in the one that counts! 74% of players have already given up or don't care. Damn it, this is so frustrating.
Please get the word out to other oldschool players, vote in this poll to save the banks of the world!
Literally 3/4 of players have not voted!

NO! 2007 was the peak point for RS and what many refer to as the Golden Era. Hence, that's what many old schoolers aimed to get back, and we got it back in OSR. Post-2007 is just an '08-15 prod's vision of RS since they've never experienced the real deal. Now, all those neophytes want to migrate to our game and transform it into their vision of a watered-down game that resembles a shell of itself (i.e. RS3) as it exists in their world.
I honestly do not know what you're on about. You do realise that 2008-2015 is a massive time-frame, right? That's SEVEN YEARS. Everything changes, for better and for worse. Did you really think RuneScape was going to stay the same all these years? And why do you assume that all of the players in your so-called "Golden Age" left in that year and got replaced by new players? I joined in 2006, loved the game, and when the GE came out, I loved it, and kept playing all through to 2012. You are acting deluded.
