Disappointing to don't see any balancing measures being polled. As it stands the GE is going to be incredibly OP.
Why is there no option to change some of the GE mechanics. The way the previous poll was worded suggested that some sort of balancing would atleast be polled when introducing the GE, but nothing's here.

The prevent the GE from becoming a huge overpowered piece of ****, some chances have to atleast be considered.

- Introducing a tax so there is actually a downside to using the thing and normal trading doesn't become obsolete.
- Disallow offline trading, to minimize the amount merchanting that can be done while afk.
- Other restrictions and limits in tradeble amounts of items.

Seconding this.

Best regards.

you guys should make random events that aren't yours unclickable. like you did to the pets, because there's plenty of times where i'm skilling and i accidentally click on someone else's random event. just a thought. thanks.

The Grand Exchange was released in November 2007. It should be in west Varrock where it was placed originally. You and all the other idiots like you that keep associating Grand Exchange with RS3 are the reason OSRS is so held back in all the updates that would make this game more fun and less slow.

What about you and all the other idiots who haven't a bloody clue about the significance of OSR. Additionally, the sheep who've voted yes don't even know what the hell they're voting for and, let alone, the total contradiction of voting for the GE to make things easier but not wanting it in all bank locations because it'll make it too OP or too easy. Let me get this straight. So, you've voted for GE to make your life easier, and now you don't want it in all banks to make your life easier. If that's the case, then you should've grown a brain and a set, and voted no for the GE, and then vote yes on the fallback options for the TP and see how it goes, which, in my honest opinion, would've went a lot better than the GE, before requesting the GE to be brought back. Like the old sayings go, "Fools rush in. Stupid is as stupid does."

On that token, let me get you up to speed. After the GE came along and to keep a long story short, strict trade limits were imposed, and trading has been ruined by its presence. Thus, that's why many people feel that the GE is synonymous with bad since it has led to the downfall of RS back then. Also, if the same, old RS3-based GE makes it here, then it'll also lead to the downfall of OSR.

The whole reason I came back to Old School RS was to play a the version of Runescape that wasn't tainted before the release of the Grand Exchange and beyond. I suppose however, that history does repeat itself. I give it two months that after this OSRS version of the GE releases, we are going to see the same experiences that took place when it first came out, you know like the TRADE LIMIT update?

Slowly but surely, this game will turn into RS3 pretty soon, killing the whole idea of playing Runescape in a particular era in time. Was the trading post such a bad idea that we had to add this back in?
Consider me unsubscribing pretty soon.
