Question: Should we introduce a matchmaking system to help you find other players to play group minigames with more easily? Yes

Question: Should we introduce a minigame reward shop where you can use points and tokens from multiple minigames to purchase new items? No

Question: If you vote for the minigame reward shop to be included, do you want it to sell the bonecrusher which works in the same way as the dungeoneering reward in RS3? No

Question: If you vote for the minigame reward shop to be included, do you want it to sell a rune pouch which will store multiple runes in but only take up one inventory space? No

Question: If you vote for the minigame reward shop to be included, do you want it to sell books that teach you the Augory and Rigour prayers? No

Question: If you vote for the minigame reward shop to be included, do you want it to sell all three levels of clue scrolls? No

Now that I think about matchmaking system - it will cause a few major problems for minigames like Castlewars & Barbarian Assault.


Castlewars: you need group of 10 to start game, and in my past experience with this huge amount of players needed for 1 minigame - matchmaking would rarely have that many players waiting at the same time. At start after these updates it will be pretty popular way to get teams, but after a while everyone losing intrest in waiting. One of my favorite mmorpgh game use this system and few months after they introduced new minigame similar to Castlewars - whole minigame died.

Barbarian Assault: This far teams have been handpicked at wave 1. Matchmaking system would really make it easier to get team but you have no say in who you will be teaming with. Players waiting for game to start via matchmaking system will be skilling while waiting and there will be no players at Barbarian assault minigame lobby or wave 1. This will cause the minigame die in oldschool as it died in rs3, since there are players that love this minigame and want to play it with other players who share the same intrest, but since minigame isn't as busy as it used to be pre-rs3, those players have to fill up the team with random players who are looking for anykind of team to achieve their goal: get torso. Who to take if there is none?

I like the idea of matchmaking but
PLEASE EXCLUDE BARBARIAN ASSAULT AND CASTLEWARS FROM MATCHMAKING SYSTEM.


Also I feel like Barbarian Assault needs some updating that will really make people come back and will keep the minigame running in long run - like the hiscores or rs3 horn. Suggested updates for Barbarian Assault minigame will not improve the amount of players there for long - after a while we will be where we started or even worse situation - everybody got their penance legs and torso and have no reason to stay - Minigame dies instead of becoming more popular.

Here is one suggestion:
REORGANIZE THE WORLD LIST FOR OLDSCHOOL


To be honest, with current world list it's really hard to find exact world, for nature running, falador party room, barbarian assault if you dont know what you're looking for or know the exact world for the minigame. Myself I wouldn't bother moving cursor over every single world to find what i'm looking for, I rather spend that time in-game :]

That way no matchmaking system needed for Castlewars or Barbarian Assault. They have their own dedicated worlds where players can meet. Worked great pre-rs3, so why not old school too? :]

I agree with this, the world select list on the log in screen should be like the one in rs3

Hey guys, some of the feedback suggests we need think a bit more about some ideas. Firstly, free runes in Castle Wars - many of you are worried about lots of barragers freezing every one all the time. How about if we only supply the elemental runes and mind, chaos and death runes. That way mages can cast up to Fire Blast for free but will have to supply their own blood runes for more powerful spells.

Also, the extra tickets for killing more players or capturing the flag in Castle Wars has raised some concerns about farming the game. We could limit the extra tickets to one extra if you kill 10 or more players and one extra if you capture one or more flags.

Some of you have also mentioned the stats of the penance legs we suggested. We don't want to devalue any existing items, especially not the tassets, and many of you have suggested it should have the same stats as rune legs but with a +1 strength bonus, we'll happily make those the stats if it is what you want.

Any idea when this will all be in a poll? I want, what they want, and every other guy who came over here and spilled his guts and gave everything he had, wants! For our country to love us as much as we love it! That's what I want!

Can you explain the Zamorak Spear update in more depth please? I feel like people will be confused and concerned about it replacing the Whip.

The Zamorakian spear has 75 str bonus, 85 stab bonus.
The Abyssal Whip has 82 Str bonus, 82 slash bonus.
The Whip will remain the weapon of choice for everything except dragons.

Whips can train def/controlled/att
Zamorakian spear can train Def/controlled.

Currently Zamorakian Spear has the following uses:

No boss other than Dagannoth supreme is weak to stab in 07.
Bandos is weak to slash, Kril't**tharoth is weak to slash, Zilyana is weak to crush, Armadyl is range/mage only.

Please include this information in the poll regarding the change from 2h to 1h for the Zamorakian spear.

Mat K, you could still use ice burst :/ only allow spells from the standard spellbook please?

And if you die with the fighter legs in a pvp world or wildy, could you run back and pick them up? If yes I'm definitely voting no
