Also, the extra tickets for killing more players or capturing the flag in Castle Wars has raised some concerns about farming the game. We could limit the extra tickets to one extra if you kill 10 or more players and one extra if you capture one or more flags.

I really do not like the idea of capturing the flag giving extra tickets, even if it is capped at one. Two reasons for that:

1) The person holding the flag is not the only person involved in scoring, it's a team effort and people supporting the scorer should not feel as if they're getting getting less credit.
2) People will kill their own team mates underground with the rocks to steal their score.

But anyways, do you plan to revisit minigames in more detail after this poll? Your ideas will certainly bring some activity to these minigames, but trying to cover every minigame in one poll is reeeaaallly not enough.

Hey guys, some of the feedback suggests we need think a bit more about some ideas. Firstly, free runes in Castle Wars - many of you are worried about lots of barragers freezing every one all the time. How about if we only supply the elemental runes and mind, chaos and death runes. That way mages can cast up to Fire Blast for free but will have to supply their own blood runes for more powerful spells.

Some of you have also mentioned the stats of the penance legs we suggested. We don't want to devalue any existing items, especially not the tassets, and many of you have suggested it should have the same stats as rune legs but with a +1 strength bonus, we'll happily make those the stats if it is what you want.


I like the fix on runes but can I bring in my own blood runes and still take the free runes to cast my higher level spells? If so do I still get halved xp? I wouldn't mind everyone having infinate runes but perhaps a capped amount every day like 1000 of the mind/chaos/death/blood and 10000 of the elemental runes.

For the kills/scores buff, it would make it easier to get more tickets and people who have already earned a large quantity of tickets would be disappointed to see tickets being obtained so easily. It also changes the incentive of the game from being capture the flag to being kill 10 people and hope your team wins or flag hog and hope you get 1 score in. I thought castle wars was a team game of working together to win, why should you give individual rewards for a group based mini-game. If anything add 1 additional ticket if your team holds another team to 0 captures.

Bandos chest plate was automatically devalued before it even came out because of fighter torso, i have no problem with the fighter legs being +2 strength and rune legs defensive bonuses equivalent. Bandos tassets are still better defense and good looking in my opinion.

I believe penance items should have their price halved but should be destroyed on death and coins should be dropped to replace the item on the ground. Pkers end up getting far less loot because of all the untradable items, they should at least be rewarded with coins because it can be tough to break even pking. I believe this should be addressed with all untradable items, they should be destroyed on death but perhaps easier to retrieve at a certain cost after being originally unlocked.

Can you explain the Zamorak Spear update in more depth please? I feel like people will be confused and concerned about it replacing the Whip.

The Zamorakian spear has 75 str bonus, 85 stab bonus.
The Abyssal Whip has 82 Str bonus, 82 slash bonus.
The Whip will remain the weapon of choice for everything except dragons.

Whips can train def/controlled/att
Zamorakian spear can train Def/controlled.

Currently Zamorakian Spear has the following uses:

No boss other than Dagannoth supreme is weak to stab in 07.
Bandos is weak to slash, Kril't**tharoth is weak to slash, Zilyana is weak to crush, Armadyl is range/mage only.

Please include this information in the poll regarding the change from 2h to 1h for the Zamorakian spear.

This is most likely not the right place to ask for it, but can u pls fix the glitch where it kicks you out of Castle Wars when u hop to a rs3 world and then back to osrs?

Also I don't approve zammy spear 1 handed, it will look stupid because the special attack of a spear is to push the enemy back with 2 hands not 1 hand a shield. This would also be unfair for every other spear user bronze to dragon spear not being able to use these weapons in order to defeat monsters weak to 'stab'. Although there are plenty of substitute weapons with stab that are not spears, I feel that a 1 handed zammy spear would be unfair in relativity to a dragon spear just for use of special attack while having a shield equipped devaluing the dragon spear (even further). I believe spears should be 2 handed weapons, they are not javelins they are spears.
