I don't like this. . .
Although much of the things that have been presented are quite needed (smith x, higher alch value for Armadyl, etc.) these are simply features fixing what was previously broken in 2007. Other additions, however, will drastically change many game dynamics to the extent that 2007 Runescape won't resemble Runescape in 2007 at all. Some of these are:
Splitbark Defense
: Don't take that away. That has always been there. We are talking about incentives, make a different/new reward. Don't devalue the requirements for an armor associated with the game.
Free runes for cw
: DO. NOT. DO. THIS. I don't care about the xp rate drop, this will be abused. Not to mention rangers are using largely expendable entities. Battles will without a doubt be swarmed by ancients and it will simply be a wholesale slaughter.
Augury and Rigour:
The option to make this available
in any other manner
than through Knight Waves is a
slap in the face
to questers such as myself. This is devaluing a very useful
quest
reward.
Bronecrusher:
I think you saw this coming. Absolutely not. No. NONONO. I quit Runescape because of Dungeoneering. This isn't even moderately OldSchool-like. That is solely RS3/EOC era xp baby sitting. Many of us enjoy OSRS
because
it is difficult to gain levels.
It means something when someone takes the time to pick up regular and big bones just to bury them.
HUD for Pray, Health, Energy:
I'm perfectly okay with this. But
please make it have a toggle.
I don't want it personally, but there is nothing wrong with others having it.
Honestly, if things such as this keep getting instituted I won't be coming back.
Just stop. Honestly. Quit with that excuse. This is so stupid lol. You're clearly blinded by nostalgia. Also, if you don't like it, then just vote no on the poll. A lot of polls haven't gone my way either dude.
