I like most of the ideas, but I think many of them need more clarification.

Should we allow players to obtain free runes within Castle Wars to cast magic at a reduced XP rate?

There are two sides to this coin. On the plus side, this helps bring more variety to the combat triangle composition. I never played much Castle Wars, but I did play a lot of Soul Wars and I liked being able to come in with a seercull bow and wreck some ancient mage’s party. On the down side though, a big part of what balances out the awesome power of an ancient mage is the cost of those runes, and that’s why you would rarely see more than 5 of them in a single game, even on the massive full team worlds. If you give everyone free runes, even with reduced XP, I can only imagine that the mage population would get out of control. Maybe that’s just what CW needs right now though; I wouldn’t know. I think there could be a better solution to the problem than free magic.

Should 10% of your kills be translated into tickets at the end of each game?

As others have said, I can imagine this being abused. Dedicated clans could form for cooperative teams that just trade kills to farm tickets faster, easier, and more reliably than playing the game.

Should you receive one ticket for each enemy flag that you deliver to your castle's standard stand?

I don’t fully understand how CW works, but I expect this might also be similarly abused.
I’m in favor of more tickets, but there’s got to be a better way.

Should we add fighter legs to the Barbarian Assault reward shop?

As others have said, the stats on fighter legs are a concern. Personally, I see no need, but rune legs with +1 str bonus seems reasonable. PvPers would surely be concerned about more quality nontradables that aren’t lost on death.

Should the game applet show your current health, prayer points and run energy on icons near the minimap? A toggle option would allow players to hide these icons if they did not wish to see them.

I’m pretty sure the main issue some people have with this is that it makes competitive combat easier, when you can clearly see your current HP and PP at all times. Personally, I’m all for the update as a basic convenience. I’m just saying that making it toggle wouldn’t satisfy those who oppose the idea. Maybe if it was automatically off in the wilderness, duel arenas, and pvp minigames, that would suffice for them, but I don’t know.

Should the Zamorakian spear become a single-handed weapon?

Whoa, that sounds like a little much to me. The zammy spear isn’t just a great stab weapon. It’s also one of the best crush weapons, due to attack speed. Making it a one handed weapon would make it the pinnacle of dragon slaying, and a rune defender would beef up the stab bonus even more for other uses. Unless you’re not going to add a leaf bladed sword or other good one handed weapon, I don’t know what you’re shooting for here, but I’m skeptical. Zammy spear is already great as is. If anything, it could use a better special attack, in my opinion.

I feel like the multi-token rewards are not going to solve the problem with mini-games being dead content. After someone gets these rewards then what? There's nothing to keep people playing. There need to be consumable rewards that keep players coming back for more. That's what will ensure a mini-games longevity.

I feel like the bonecrusher should be bought with a large amount of ecto-tokens, it's more fitting for the item. Clue scrolls should be a reward exclusively from Trouble Brewing. The Rune Pouch and Rigour/Augary prayers would make a good Castle Wars exclusive reward.

A bank in the Blast Furnace? Only if there was an appreciable fee to access it. Such a thing would devalue the Smithing skill.

The proposed buff (or rather nerf) to Splitbark Armor will not be enough to entice people to play this mini-game. Upgrade the chest rewards and maybe even add a golden chest which rewards a new dragon item (such as a dragon short sword).

For Trouble Brewing, I think the existing rewards need to be cheaper and the experience in the mini-game to receive a buff.

I am against a one-handed spear . Instead, we should focus on releasing a dragon hasta . Hastae are one-handed spears by the way.

There are a lot of other ideas mentioned in this thread, to which I have contributed. Some of the ideas inside are worth looking at and considering.

Some of these updates are very great, but others sort of give me an ominous feeling. For example, some of the things I find that are positive are:

Bandages outside of castle wars
Bank in blast furnace
mini map icons
armor alchemy value
making X values for smithing
minimap
Higher tier prayers

but other things that give me the
creeps
and sensation that will imply a negative impact on the game includes:

fighter legs
1-handed spears
ability to BUY clue scrolls
a free tele to the minigames (I mean, lets be serious, that's what a games amulet is for...)

to name a few.

I'm supporting all updates.

I would suggest you add ammo for rangers if you add the runes for mages. The only issue is the amount of runes and if its unlimited or high enough for people to use ice barrage ect. If you're going to let the people using ice barrage [the best spell for c wars] then you should add in onyx [e] bolts and dragon bolts to be fair and just for the rangers. Another point to this is NO PLAYERS have ever truly sat around and used the best bolts in the game. For years and years Onyx [e] bolts were simply too expensive to use and lose, but i don't think its fair to let mages use their best spell and not let rangers use their best ammo.

Will Castle wars be boostable for the kill streaks? I could have a friend for instance lvl 3 just meet me in the middle of map and be able to kill them repeatedly for the 5 kill streak. Perhaps you could kill the same person toward a streak but you need to kill others between? For instance, I kill my friend lvl 3, but i still need to kill another person before i could kill them again for another kill toward my streak, this avoids people boosting so easily because they would need to kill other people.

perhaps let the overload potions and super mage / super range pots to be used in pvp minigames? This also gives more reason to do NMZ which is what you are after in making minigames more active.

The whip bonus update. Are these weapons only boosted on PVP servers? If they were boosted on all servers and VS monsters instead of solely bonus'd against players then I personally would die for 28 whips in my inventory and have my friend trade them back so i have boosted whips to do PVM on non pvp servers. Is this a problem or is the item sink worth it? I personally think the item sink is well worth being able to use these weapons on non pvp servers.

Also if you die with this "boosted" whip will it degrade to dust or does the pker who received it get the item as fully recharged? Or perhaps boosted even further?

I agree

Question: Should we introduce a minigame reward shop where you can use points and tokens from multiple minigames to purchase new items?

Should poll a reward of an item that can upgrade cannons so they hold more cannonballs (maybe like 60?)

I play CW pretty much daily in w334 so I hope you value my input

Should you receive one ticket for each enemy flag that you deliver to your castle's standard stand?
- No, this isn't fair for defenders. Defenders are just as important as scorers.

Should 10% of your kills be translated into tickets at the end of each game?
- No, this pulls away from the objective and is not fair for lower levels. Their will be people running around aimlessly killing people just for the ticket bonus which does not help defenders and scorers that much.

If you kill five or more players without dying, would you like to be buffed which will increase the damage you deal and make you more difficult to kill?
- Yes, but only if the kills are within your castle's base or the enemies base so it encourages people to play objectively.

Should we allow players to obtain free runes within Castle Wars to cast magic at a reduced XP rate?
- Only if there are bolts and arrows for rangers also . The bolts should be onyx or dragon (e) and the arrows rune. This would help balance the game a lot more by putting a counter to mages.

Should we add a ranged and mage armour set to the Castle Wars reward shop?
- Instead just implement armour set bonuses to the armour that's already in game. The armour should work like it does in rs3 allowing the bonus to be used with 2h weapons while wearing top and bottom pieces. The bonus can only be activated in castle wars.

Some needed improvements not mentioned in dev blog: - posted earlier by 'P E A C E'
- Take 5 to tables
- Right click heal option on players (cannot be used on a player holding their own teams flag)
- Restore special attack upon death
- Freeze timer is removed upon death
- Make it so you can place barricades infront of the spawn room doors (if there is a barricade infront of spawn door the player should still be able to walk through it)
- Fix the glitch where a player cannot be speared off of a barricade
