I gathered a list of what I think are pros and cons.

Pros-
1. can obtain your items immediately
2. No more need to stand around saying buying/selling
3. easier for people to buy and sell more obscure items, such as things hunter related

Cons-
1. could ruin the effect for people playing for nostalgic purposes
2. Prices for items could drop due to being easier to obtain
3. There's a very large number of people who appear to be strongly against the ge, who might quit if it's released

I personally voted yes.

yes prices will drop but people will be able to sell their junk wich compares even to that and second of all the no voters are a small amount they just got a big mouth, that little amount will quit but more will come back, the fast there was no ge was a reason i didnt play and my friends too

Clearly Darkers comments were written by a small minded, rather illiterate person. One person posts pros and cons in a sensible, intelligent manner, and another insults, he's someone who clearly can't think for themselves. Nearly a quater of the voters on OSRS is not a "small amount", and just becuase your opinion differs from the no voters does not mean they can not express their views. And as for being "big mouthed", i say that comment could be adressed to you Darkers. Having an opinion for or against does not make us big mouthed just becuase we disagree with your opinion. And as for it not mattering if people quit, clearly this small minded sheep has not put thought into how small the player base on OSRS is, and that any amount of people quitting would be a problem. This was clearly written by a fool. Whether G.E passes or fails people will be disapointed. However to just say anyone voting no has a big mouth, clearly you're not thinking right. I see you've not been a member for long. This is not RS3 and if you'd like that I can post you a link to it!

Darkers, you are as mistaken as you are illiterate! As the poll stands, nearly a quarter of players is hardly a small ammount!
Interesting to see that you have not been a member for long, maybe you didn't play at the time OSRS is set in and just wish to see RS3 reborn?
Further, as i voted NO i take offence at being labeled a "big mouth" and strongly suggest RS3 would suit you better.
Ultr64 at least presents a well presented, thought out argument...

The problem is that you (Jagex) can't learn to leave well enough alone. If you create the G.E. it'll take away vital player interaction that OSRS actually has. Moving it to Falador won't fix the the problem and neither moving it to trade posts. LEAVE OSRS ALONE we don't want any stupid graphical updates we want the game we played when we were younger remember that

There is no interaction at all already, g.e will improve it. "hi, can I buy all your flax?" "my world v west" you trade "ty" "ty" There's very little interation there already. you morons need to pay more attention.

And there would be more interaction with the G.E? Where no one talks at all. No interaction what so ever is all the G.E is, and if you think we are morons for not wanting the Grand Exchange, I say you are a moron for your insulting moronic comment to this persons polite comments on the G.E. poll. Clearly the reason that you wish for the G.E in OSRS is so that you have to think even less than you do already.
