Now that we can stop wasting our time on GE since it's inevitably coming, can we focus on more important matters? Such as: A resizable window for OS so i can stop using a magnifying glass to play?

While RS3's Grand Exchange has website features to track the price history of all the items, it may not be possible for us to get all those features added to the Old School website alongside our launch of a Grand Exchange. Nevertheless, we would aim to have them added as soon as possible.
Looking forward to this!

Okay for the people that are voting NO on the poll, you're out of luck. It's at 75.3% right now and has been steadily increasing, which shows a pretty good chance of this staying above 75% and passing.
Therefore, all of you will have to accept that the GE is coming into the game. If you hate it so much and you want YOUR experience to stay the same, then it's pretty simple.
DON'T USE THE ******* GRAND EXCHANGE.
If you want to spend hours sifting through hundreds of auto talkers trying to find air runes then go ahead. The grand exchange won't harm your ability to waste your time to terribly much.
Furthermore, if you are really hellbent on having that nostalgia, which for most of us has disappeared by now, then create an iron man and go that route.
With that being said, the Grand Exchange WILL be passed, and it WILL be implemented, so if you don't like it, you can either quit, refuse to use it and maintain your "oldschool ways" or, like many of you that are voting will do, you can use the Grand Exchange and be a total hypocrite.
I love arguments like this. Just shows the intellect of the people who want the GE.
Tell me how we're going to be sifting through auto talkers and not using the GE when there is NO marketplace anymore?
We will have to use the ge once it's out because there is no marketplace anymore. Using it not hypocrisy it's just what we'll have to do!
Go to world 2 fally in rs3 and have a look for yourself. It died shortly after the ge was released. But you wouldn't know that because the first time you played rs2 was in 2013 I'll bet.
I'm not going to quit because of the ge but I'm allowed to not be happy about it.
I wonder If I kick up a stink on the forums and make 1000 thread crying about it, They will poll it for a 3rd time!

PROS :
1. Convenience
CONS:
1.Loss of player control to prices of items
2.Reduction in prices of low tiered/ non-member items
3.Easier to get 99 in lots of skills without leaving GE
4.Merhcant Clans manipulating prices
5.Loss of communication between players
6.Loss of original merchanting community
7.Makes Quests useless since people just buy items
THIS IS O S R S . CONVENIENCE SHOULD NOT DRIVE UPDATES, WHY CANT YOU UNDERSTAND THIS JAGEX?
1) How? Players will control what the price of GE items are as well through buying/selling. What you mean to say is, no more rip offs.
2) Kappa.
3) How is that a con? I'm pretty sure if people had the GP they could get a 99 quite easily with trading as it is now. Just because the GE comes out doesn't mean everybody is suddenly going to get mils for things like 99 craft/herb/pray etc.
4) Merchant clans are non-existent atm or are hardly known because it's not hard to merc* solo with the current trading system. That doesn't mean it's better. Players will group up to exploit other players because they won't be able to solo rip off players anymore. So technically there is still mass merching but as it's done solo nobody cares.
5) Rarely anybody communicates when they trade. You simply PM the person ask them where to meet, do the trade then delete them. If you're selling you tell them where you are and the world, then you're done. Otherwise it's a simple "thanks". Hardly communication.
6) ??????? This totally contradicts #4. You want the merchant community to stay but are moaning about merchanting clans. Who tf do you think will make them? Derp
7) Yeah teleporting different places & gathering items yourself for ages somehow adds value to quests. Not.

I'm very much looking forward to this too! Here is what Mod Mat K said in this thread:

March is tentatively when we would like to give you resizable mode. However, resizable mode is a very technically challenging project and there are likely to be numerous as yet unknown roadblocks we will need to overcome. So, although with our best intentions we will like to give you resizable mode in March, it may slip depending on the roadblocks.
Hope that helps! In case you don't know just click the "said" after Mod Mat K to be taken to that thread.
