I realized what I said about people quitting now was pretty insensitive, I want to apologize. I am really sick and tired of seeing the whiners about quitting and keeping the game oldschool though. You're forgetting why OSRS was opened in the first place.

You guys have to realize OSRS was never intended to stay as a nostalgic game. We're here to rebuild our version of Runescape 3 as a community before Jagex tore apart the game we loved. Yes I know the title still says "Oldschool Runescape" but I'm starting to think Jagex isn't changing it as a joke when it clearly isn't oldschool anymore.

Also people that keep reinstating this will become exactly like EoC is full of themselves. EoC is a product of Jagex doing what they wanted and neglecting the community. OSRS has literally been 100% about the community starting with the poll to open up the servers.

The end product, 75%+ of the people have the game they want and the majority are happy. I'm sorry you guys fall in the minority percentile with GE, but what else can be done? The only way everyone will be happy about everything is if the polls require 100% votes to pass, and every poll passes...then you have the perfect game.

You People Don't Understand That The G.e Is A Mercher's Paradise? They Can Sell All Their Items For The Maximum Price What Ever The Demand For The Item.

Torstol seed for example. was 45k 5 days Later 20k? Hmm DUMP SOLD BY MERCHERS. It gives you a disadvantage, that's why.

Don't worry though, after this update you'll have your GE.
The number of players WILL drop though.

Oh I know the update will come. I also seriously doubt the amount of players will drop. Besides, those who do quit will simply be replaced by people who had initially quit and are coming back for the GE update.

Jagex knows this.

Lol. Not one player from RS3 will decide to play the exact same game with terrible graphics.

May it be right away or within 3 months, the number of players will decrease.

I, and I saw quite a few other posts, are already unsubscribing.

Oh and btw: once legacy mode gets improved, a great number of players that played osrs purely because of the combat will go back.

So i'm proving you wrong.

If GE passes, I am going to play again.
I don't even care if that 25% of players gonna quit. It will be easier to find some free boss rooms. ;)

The empty threats of people "quitting" means nothing to me, anyone voting in this poll, or Jagex. You people think that threatening to stop playing is really going to affect the way this vote comes out? Go ahead, quit. For every one of you that "quits" someone else will take your place.

Actually they ARE threatening to quit. Many that are against the GE say they'll quit if it passes, which as stated above you, is an empty threat.

Also, can we please quit comparing the GE to EOC. The Grand Exchange allowed trading to become quicker and as easy as clicking a button. EOC was a complete overhaul on the ENTIRE combat system.

These two things are COMPLETELY different!! The impact on the game isn't even remotely comparable, so the fact so many people are comparing them is absolutely ridiculous.
