Another reason why I think G.E will be good in osrs, If you need little items for a quest etc. no one might not be selling them and if your lvl isn't higher enough for the item to be crafted etc. then people would need to go out of there way to get that level, maybe lose some money on the way, then make that item, then finish the quest. Maybe turning there 20 minute quest into 3 hours maybe a day to get the level to create the item.

Are there really people who play this game with this mindset?...

The 3 hours - day levelling obtain that one key item is the whole point of the game...

Why do you think ironman modes have become so popular?

Yes, because that's where the modern market is. You "earn" things by doing the most menial of tasks.
Even Skyrim is a good example of this, you're never really underpowered there. Obviously modern shooters illustrate it just as well.

Most of oldschool fantasy quests was just getting the items, the adventure along the way was what made it fun, but the modern RS mindset is you only play for levels and the entire game is about higher levels and more fat stacks. That's it.

"CoinShare

With the Grand Exchange in Old School we will have the ability to offer CoinShare, a system that automatically converts signature drops to their market value and offers the item on the Grand Exchange. We will look at polling CoinShare once we know whether or not the Grand Exchange will be coming to Old School."

Okay, have fun with that. Build up that Coinshare wall again. Won't even consider a shardshare system, will you?

Wow! What a great short term idea! How many players quit when the GE was brought out? If this goes through, I'll have no choice but to quit. It's already a PvM game and this will make it worse.

I have a greeeaaat suggestion open on the suggestion boards, please consider that over this dumb idea.

No way. If you bring GE then you will ruin this game and your solid customer base. It's too risky for you as well Jagex. If people want GE, then go play RS3. It's one of the main distinctions between the two games. Also, Slaystars are a noob clan that just like spamming. #Asvp says no to Grand Exchange!!

Please bring back the G.E. and here's the reason why. Not everyone played in 2007 and prior, some of us joined in 2008 or 2009 and absolutely loved the game, it was easy to start out, when you wanted your new armour and weapons you just needed the money. Some of us want a very complete and organized bank with one of every teleport tablet, potion, special weapon, armour, it's just easier to be organized with the Grand Exchanged. Some of us from 2008 like me or even 2009 and 2010 want that game back, and EoC RuneScape 3 OBVIOUSLY isn't 2009, but 2007 is really damn close. If we got a Grand Exchange I know me and some friends who would jump into Old School RuneScape in literally a heart beat.

Oh and anyone who says that "The G.E. isn't old school", do a bit of research and see that the G.E. was released only three months after the version of RuneScape that OS runs off of now, that was around mid-August, G.E. was released mid November.

Runescape is too easy already! I started back in 2003 and I think this is already a screwed up build of Runescape where skilling is useless.

First off, I have played on various characters for at least 10 years (it was just after the new graphics update from classic)

When GE came out, everyone had been excited about 1m people being online playing runescape... look at the number now..**** devastated the economy, and began the downfall of the game. Part of the game is arranging trades and knowing prices...

I have noticed that the prices on things in 07 have migrated back to what they were before the GE was introduced.

If you want GE -- play on **C

Leave Old School alone.

The Grand Exchange demolished the social interaction in Runescape. An aspect that makes or breaks mmor**'s. I made a lot of friends with trading in person, especially with the use of the trading post. Don't make Runescape braindead again.

Another big downside is the rising of merchanting clans. Since the Grand Exchange can be easily influenced by large amount of players that offer the same stuff. Not to speak of the possibillity of 6 piles of max cash.

Both dangers can make the Runescape economy collapse, just as happend years before.

Conclusion: The Grand Exchange is not a solution. Hence NO is my reply.

Please add GE! This is a must have update for us slayers and questers trying to buy odd items. The addition of the Grand Exchange would also get rid of merc* bots! W301 is full of merc* bots that ruin the whole "Player Interaction" stuff people QQ about. Grand Exchange would actually bring more interaction because people could chat whil easily buy/selling items*

**;DR
VOTE YES FOR GE :D ^_^ ^_^ :D :D
